Spring games are the probably the least important part of spring practice. They literally predict nothing.

Unless your QB goes 5-30.

People picking a 6-7 team losing their only impact player coming off a liberty bowl loss to UCF is fricking hilarious. USC/UF winner will win the East. SECr overrating UGA is an annual tradition. They have been equal with Tennessee record-wise the last two seasons for frick's sake.

UA will struggle on offense. LSU wins the West. Carolina shouldn't skip a beat from last year. As long as Garcia stays off the sauce they should win the East easily.

41-14 pissin ya off that much CTF?

also gonna be nitpicky here: UT football 2009: 7-6. UGA 2009: 8-5. but hey by all means get all butt hurt. we know which program has been better this decade. but hey man super-bray will lead yall to the promised-land for sure with that whopping 16.7% completion rate he sported in the spring game.

let the bitching ensue

I mean everyone can call everyone else idiots when it comes to who wins the East:

UGA Detractors: Lost best offensive and defensive (arguably) players after a 6-7 season

UGA Fans: Return Murray, lots of experience on offensive line (doesn't mean much),bring in a stud recruiting class, second year in 3-4, plus everyone else in the East doesn't exactly stand out, plus an easy schedule...Richt's last year better get it done.

USCe Detractors: Garcia is an alcoholic, Spurrier yanks QBs like he does his visor, always loses games that they should win (Kentucky), USC plays in Athens this year and Spurrier is already terrified of skinny ginger kids that call him out.

USC fans: Garcia can drunkenly cum sling the ball and still win the East, Spurrier is an offensive mastermind, Lattimore is still Lattimore, Jeffrey>AJ (puhlease), and they're the defending champs

UF Detractors: Changing offense, New Coach, changing identity, basically overhaul of UF with same resources

UF Fans: Great coaching staff, Excellent atheletes, plus if UGA is in the discussion, have to get by UF (potentially).

UT Detractors: O-Line is good but really young, no real proven playmakers on offense (I don't care if it's a spring game, Bray looked like dog shite), extremely young team

UT Fans: "Dooley is the shite", second year in the system, East is a crapshoot, Bray will have a breakout year.

It will be tough for LSU to beat UF twice in 1 season. I say this because I'm picking LSU to beat UF in Baton Rouge earlier in the year.

Yep, that will Be like 03 when we had to play UGA twice. Barely escaped the first time , and cruised our way to New Orleans the second time.

Tennessee has nothing to do with it. UGA being overrated is an annual tradition. I've already bookmarked this thread and will bump it when USC/UF is headed to ATL and UGA is booking another flight to Shreveport/Memphis.

I will say this, if UGA heads to a crap bowl this coming year, I think Richt will be gone. There's no reason for this to be happening with the talent that UGA gets.

It's going to be the USC/UF winner again. The fact that UF will likely have the best defense in the east and quite possibly the conference as a whole means we don't need much offense. If our ridiculous number of tailbacks can stay healthy we just have to hope JB can complete handoffs. And while that is no guarantee I think he can get enough in there to keep us in every game this year.

Just in case folks have forgotten, UF had a TON of people injured last season as well as in the spring game this year. IF (big if) we stay healthy we will have one of the top 4 most talented teams in the conference. Whether or not that plays out on the field we shall see.

Bama will have the best D with LSU right there behind them. But I think LSU's offense will improve a lot. So I think it will be LSU and UF playing with LSU a 1 loss team and UF a 3 loss team.
