I havent watched any sports network shows for a couple of years or the NFL. I took my son to lunch today at Buffalo Wild Wings and several networks were all discussing how good Mac Jones and the Patriots were. Dude was all over several different networks.

Mac Jones is playing amazing for a rookie this year, regardless if the teams he's playing have winning records or not. It's the NFL... each game is difficult. And he's been impressive.

No mention of Joe Burrows. Reading this board I would have thought they would all be talking about Joe but it was all Mac. What gives?

oh for frick's sake... Mac is playing tonight. And they've been talking about Burrow and Chase and the Bengals all year as well... your sample size is small considering you say you haven't watched sports shows in a couple of years.

Even with the easiest schedule in the NFL, BB doesn't trust Jones to do more than "dink and dunk". 3 passes completed more than 25 yards, BB doesn't even pretend anymore.

I'm know what you're after and I'm not going to help you continue to hedge and qualify your original prediction in this pathetic quest you have to avoid ever admitting that you're wrong about anything.

Be a fricking man and cop to your dumb arse statement and maybe I'll consider taking you seriously. Until then, howsabout you go and frick yourself, k?

A missed field goal from beating Tampa Bay. Defense could not get a stop in a close game with Dallas. Beat 5-4 (4-2 at the time) Chargers on the road. Beat the Panthers and Browns who are both 5-5. I'd say they look pretty good with a rookie QB who can't complete a pass longer than 3 yards from the LOS (according to morons and not actual people who know pro football).

Tampa had three of their DBs out and still Jones played dink and dunk.
Panthers with Darnold
Browns playing their worst ball in two seasons
Their only victory against a winning team was the Chargers
The Pats are winning with their Defense and having Jones not getting them beat by playing dink and dunk.

Fake news.

Also, Patriots have third most throws over 20 yards

Mac has played 3 top ten defenses in 10 games and has a 77% completion percentage.

Problem is, you said that Mac was gonna retire Belichick. You didn't set any conditions on how he'd win in the process of not retiring Belichick until well after your original prediction was swirling the bowl.

He's not dinking and dunking you biased buffoon. He's running the offense just like it's supposed to be ran. Not every pass play is going to go for 20 + yards. How many other NFL teams do that? The New England offense is very complex and Mac is running it to almost perfection. The 25 yard or so completion on the sideline over the DB was dropped in to the receiver perfectly.

None of it counts unless the QB tries to heave the ball into the stands every snap.

BB will retire when he comes to the conclusion that he can not ride this D like he rode Brady. Every year away from a playoff appearance will tarnish his legacy. His ego will not allow Brady to win another SB.

So he'll retire because he's a prima donna and didn't have a QB at least as good as -- arguably -- the best QB to ever suit up to rely on.

Good to know that Cam would have retired him too. Probably even faster.

IP,
In all seriousness, we need to know who LSU's 12th pick is in their coaching search, because it looks like they're rolling down their list.

Consult your sauces.

Over the past 5 games, Mac Jones has averaged 8.4 yards per attempt. This would equal 3rd best in the NFL among QBS

He will retire because he believes he made Brady instead of the other way around. Brady proved last year it was his talent and not BB System that made the Pats
This year he wants to ride the Defense because he returns 9 who opted out last year due to covid. They won 7 games with out a running game, any talent at WR and a hurt QB. So he wants to play dink and dunk to try and have the D carry them. Cam should have never gone to the Pats, because you do not want to work for someone trying to prove to the world they are the smartest.

When you only pass 5 yards with high percentage passes, you will look good on paper. YAC is the majority of yards for Jones because the Ds know to keep the Receivers in front of them. They know Jones will not try and go deep, so the Pats require long drives.
