Agreed, Youth is NOT an excuse... Last year it was a logical excuse... Remember many predicted Auburn to not go to a bowl last year and at best would go 6-6...

Chizik's first real recruiting class will be Juniors this year. So we should just now be seeing what Chizik's recruits can do. You can only do so much with little talent and I would say 30-10 is pretty good.

Duhhhh...no, what I'm arguing is that the bulk of the talent Saban won the NC with was talent he acquired in his first three years...McClain, Hightower, Barron, Upshaw, Dareus, Cody, Ingram, JJones, BJones, Maze, etc, etc, etc.
I'll take semi-intelligent over no intelligence.

He had two months to recruit the 2009 class. I wouldn't consider that his first class.

and that class has been pretty solid... lutz, blake, bates, sullen, euguea, mccalleb will all start this season... nick fairley was a top 15 draftee... eltro freeman was a solid contributor.
I think the 2009 class has been good, considering the circumstances... will be the backbone of this team this season, and will help us reach 10 wins.
