If your kid had freakish talent to be low 1st Round pick in either sport, which one would you direct him towards??

Unless my child can shoot threes, he has no spot on the court. So I'll go baseball.

Not a lot of kids choosing between these two. The nature of the timing of the two sports doesn't generally give itself to playing both in high school. Not to mention elite players do their most important work on teams and circuits in the summer.

The sport he likes better.
Love of the game will go along way to him being successful.
Plus its his life, so should be his choice.
