South of I-10? Did I get that right? Or was it south of I-70?

I wish Mizzou was on the south side of Jeff City. Or even in Jeff City (forget everything you think about the current Jeff City, it would have grown up very different if Mizzou was there).
-Closer to Ozarks.
-Little further south
-Still in the center of the state for KC and STL commute.

I think we would fill a stadium of around 95 to 100k if the university were in In Little Rock. West Little rock is a great area. It would also be easier to recruit to Little Rock.

of course it would, we'd be federally mandated to bus fans in from Crossett, Pine Bluff, and Malvern.

Watch it. You need to take one of those off your list.

None of the BR people weighin in on this thread. I think LSU is in a pretty good spot. Any really cool small town would have built up in a good way based on the university being there. Off the top of my head, St Francisville maybe? That type of culture mixed with a college would be awesome.

I'd move Mizzou to the bootheel of Missouri so we didn't have to listen to the "yankee" crap
In reality I'd do this
I'd basically move it about 50 miles directly South, right on the Osage river. Basically the geographical top of the Ozark region

I would'nt move Kentucky. I would just simply pull the mountains up from the south side just a little. They start in Madison county right south of Lexington but it would be nice if you could see it from the city. Thats probably the only thing I love about knoxville.

Agree with you and mogray. Right off of 70 is convenient for the KC and STL people, but I think it would make for a nicer setting a bit further south.

Wake Forest moved from Wake Forest to Winston Salem once upon a time.

Frick Dallas.
Why would folks from all other major metropolitan areas (South Texas/Corpus Christi, Houston/Sugar Land/Katy/The Woodlands, Austin/Round Rock/San Marcos, San Antonio/New Braunfels) want to travel that far north to what is basically Oklahoma?

Much to be said for College Station's medial location in our freakishly large state.

Would not move.
Would burn Mullengrad to the ground.

The Pickwick area is my hood.
Oxford really is the best option for a university in MS.

Basically mine too ... parents from Burnsville/Iuka ( to be specific the Piney Flat out on 350 by Pickwick Pines Resort) and I'm out there all the time. My brother lives out there now ... though I'm still in Memphis.

I agree with you but still think it would be awesome to be on the lake.
