Espn covered Marcus Dupree for this title. Who else comes to mind with all the talent in the world but never saw their potential for whatever cause?
At Mississippi State running back Micheal Fair comes to mind. His career was cut down by injury freshman year. Was a man among boys.

If Nickolas Brassell wouldn't have spent all his time planning his birthday party at Illusions, he could've been good as shite.

Career limiting injury. He was a freak kick returner. Still made the league but college career was marred with injuries.

Ryan Perriloux, Cecil Collins,
You might throw in Rashard robinson If he doesn't get his act together.

I can't imagine what Jerious Norwood would have done on a quality team either.
He had a wide receiver playing QB, an awful offensive philosophy and a mediocre at best line.

Linnie Patrick played all 4 years at Alabama from 1980-83 but the man could have been so much more than he was. He was constantly in the dog house with both Bryant and Perkins and didn't really try hard at practice or strength training. But he was a beast on the field, averaging over 5 yards a touch whenever he got the ball. He just didn't play as much because he didn't put the effort in. Years later, he says he would do it all differently.
He was also the Class of 1980's second most recruited running back after Herschel Walker.
