Can't fathom how terrible this take is.

Character wise you couldn't be more wrong. Dobbs was a stand up true student athlete, leader and team player. Rattler is an egotistical, selfish douchebag whose teammates don't even like him.

As a player, Rattler still has some years left so we'll see. But so far he hasn't done anything Dobbs hasn't done (except lose his job after being named the starter to start the season).

Nah we're good

Our current QB is better and tougher than this cat by a country mile

He would do well at USC.

We don't need him at Arky. KJ turning out to be legit and I am anxious to see the development of Hornsby over the next year or so.

Arkansas already has a QB who is better than Spencer Rattler.

Would be the perfect QB at Auburn.

Having played GA and guy that had ZERO D1 offers at QB this year, SC would take him in a second...

I have a feeling he'd do great with Lane. I don't know if he's truly a locker room cancer, but he does have a world-class arm.

Corral was seen as a cancer before Lane showed up.

We could certainly use his services.

Such a bad take on so many levels.

Rattler was the #1 QB in the 2019 class (5 Star)
Dobbs was the #14 rated player in Georgia in the 2013 class (4 Star)

Rattler had offers from Bama, Notre Dame, Texas, etc) and chose OU over Bama

Dobbs had 3 SEC offers (UT, Arky, MSU) and chose UT over Arizona State

Rattler came to an OU team that finished 12-2 the year before, and in 3 seasons threw for 4,500 yards for what was already the best program in the conference, and kept OU where they were...a 2 loss regular season team but dropped them to 2nd or 3rd in their conference

Dobbs came to a UT team that finished 5-7 the year before and just fired their coach. He played for the horrible Butch Jones and still managed to throw for 7,100 yards, and led UT to back to back 9-4 seasons...despite Jones. When Dobbs finished at UT, they finished 2nd in the East in back-to-back seasons.

So, the bar was much higher with Rattler with regards to expectations...but OU is worse with him at the helm, while UT improved with Dobbs.

Dobbs was a class act, a genius, and a damn good football player.

Yep, Arkansas has "Cornbread" Jefferson locked in for the next two years. Rattler is a prima donna NIL brand seeking failure

Arky will take him as a WR or safety. Anyone object?

I’d take a chance on him. Our QB is arse.

If he’s a true locker room cancer then he can always get kicked off the team. Something tells me he’s probably humbled by the situation a bit though
