Being told that Jack Daniels is legally a bourbon really chaps their arse.
That said, my daily is Jim with a splash of coke or Angel's with one rock.
To address the OP, Auburn doesn't have a marquee food but it is known for great restaurants.
I live in Middle Tennessee and Nashville Hot Chicken is probably the most famous here but I'm not a huge fan.

I just don’t drink much anymore. I use to trade of Jack and Jim about every 6 months. Finally I gave up both of those for Makers Mark.

or even better a pan of Chocolate gravy to put over our biscuits at breakfast. I freaking love Chocolate gravy.
My grandmother used to make this along with something called Okey-Dokey Cake which was a skillet of pancake batter baked in the oven for about 15 minutes or so.
We'd also have Golden Eagle or Alaga with biscuits as well. Good eating

I love Golden Eagle syrup. I will mix up some Golden Eagle and peanut butter sometimes and put it in the middle of a biscuit.

For Mizzou gotta make burnt ends since they were invented in Kansas City and use a sweet sauce.

Nope. Makers Mark is a no go for me. Different tastes for different people and stuff.

Makers Mark makes some pretty good bourbon balls at Christmas.

order from Melvin's BBQ in the Charleston area, they claim to be the ones who invented it (if you go this route get the golden secret sauce).
Right family, wrong Bessinger though. Maurice Bessinger in Orangeburg is the OG. His son has some spots in Columbia. Look up Maurice’s in Columbia and order from them.

Wild Turkey. Best Bourbon under $50 and you can usually get it for around $25. Gobble gobble.

I like all the above. I’ve been on a scotch kick though lately.

Pompous Pig sold me on South Carolina BBQ. I love mustard base now almost as much vinegar base

I know there's good food in Auburn (diners and restaurants and such) but because of Gus, I always associate Auburn food-wise with Waffle House

Kickin Chicken. That was our nickname for Wild Turkey back in high school.

Alabama - smoke a whole chicken, make some white sauce, mac and cheese, and a cold glass of Milo’s sweet tea.
