Whats interesting is this board believes that Mulkey and Staley hate each other, but both coaches were outspoken about wanting the others team to move on to the final 4 and championship.

I have to agree with you.
LSU is ahead of schedule and overachieved just to get to the Final Four. And LSU is somehow favored against Virginia Tech.
That Iowa-SC game will be fun, but I think SC is too good on defense for Clark to go nuts.

With all due respect to the Ladycocks defense, they haven't had to deal with any players that can create offense the way Clark can.

I have great respect for what Staley has done and is doing at Carolina.
Kim Mulkey started with nothing at LSU and has us in the Final Four in year 2. It took Staley three seasons just to have a winning record at Carolina. And, yes, I know the transfer portal was big in what Kim has done.
I understand that Carolina will still be a major player in the SEC and nationally going forward. But Kim Mulkey's LSU teams will be that as well in the next few years.
