do u realize if we beat texas, we will get Arizona St in Atlanta?

No, they don't, none of you idiots do. None of your teams were going to win it all anyway, so what's the big fricking hairy deal?

I think the question here does the big 12 and the ACC deserve auto bids, or should there be any auto bids at all?
I think the power 4 conferences should have auto bids, this is the way it is in every sport and it means the teams who make the playoffs are determined by who wins it on the field. Clemson may have backed their way into the ACC championship but they won it fair and square. Yes they have 3 losses but they also won their conference.
Honestly with the NCAA moving to super conferences, I think the the power 4 should be in a division of their own, leave out the mid majors have them have their own division, maybe only for football. But the talent level between the power 4 and the mid majors even the best mid major isn't even close to the same.
So that means you have 4 conferences, you win your in, all other teams are based on subjective criteria.
edit: I'm not arguing that SC isn't better than clemson, they clearly are they beat them on the field. What I'm arguing is winning a power 4 conference should mean something, if a non-conference champ gets in over a conference champ I have a big problem with that.

The horns are gonna arse rape Clemson

I do think SC is better than Clemson, right now, due to the RB situation and play calling / personnell usage.

I doubt there's any team in the history of college football ranked around #9-14 that has a resume without weaknesses. That's why they're not ranked #4.
Most seasons, a number of them have 3 losses but people want a 12 team playoff.
But just using logic instead of "gripe" I still can't see much reason SMU and Clemson should be ranked over South Carolina by the same people ranking Ohio St over Indiana supposedly using the same methods.

SC is ranked over Clemson I believe. Clemson got in based on auto-bid, not at large based on rankings.

Autobid is probably the only way SC will ever make playoffs if they couldn't get an at large in a year in which Bama and LSU were down, and they didn't have to play the top 3 SEC teams. Autobid is meant to help the programs who haven't had much success in football.
Haha, this is pretty much all nonsense. For USC to get the SEC auto bid they would have to win the conference championship game. To qualify for that game, they’d almost have to be ranked in the Top 10 (yes, I realize A&M
“Almost” did with 3 loss).
USC was literally a FG away from beating Bama and being 10-2, which would have solidified them as a playoff club.

You mean this year and because our Defense > yours and QB > yours
Posted on 12/8/24 at 1:15 pm to lsusa
no SEC program that only gets in due to auto bid will have a problem with it.
it will happen
reason SC is so salty about this year is they don't expect SC to be this close on a consistent basis

What are Clemson’s top five wins this year?

Why would Clemson be ranked below SMU by the same criteria that ranks Ohio St over Indiana?

SMU was ranked no. 8 last week and Clemson was 17 I believe. the commiteee doesn't think Clemson's win was convincing enough to rank Clemson over SMU. SMU likely wins that game if it goes to overtime.

do you really think u can keep sellers? I'll be surprised if he's not at Alabama, LSU, etc
he's a good player, hard to tackle but I think Clemson is an overall better team than SC and can go further in playoffs than SC

Incorrect
You lost to us. At home. You are the worse team.
And of course we keep sellers
Keep dreaming and coping

bruh y'all had like a 1000 yards rushing on us but only took the lead with one minute left. Healthy Mafah or use one of the healthy RBs = Clemson win
Lville dominated us and we probably could never beat em. SC game was an easy win with right coaching.
