Did they serve beer at The Old Grey Lady? I figured so but thought I'd ask some folks who've been. TIA

Is that stadium in a bad part of town?

BBVA Compass Bowl at Legion Field in Birmingham? Yes. I'd rather take a hammer to the nuts than walk in that area unarmed and alone.

Yea Legion Field is in an older/bad part of Bham. Pretty sure that has something to do with the game being a noon kickoff.

Then my next question would be:

"shouldnt the OP be asking does the stadium serve pistols with extra ammo?"

On a serious note: the best way to catch gamecock fans these days is over on Tiger Rant trolling the Clemson fans

It's in a terrible area. One of the most blighted areas of town.

Not at all. Just curious if I'm gonna be bourbon drunk or beer drunk. Or both. Oh the possibilities.

They did when we were there. Be careful when paying to park. Had a few friends pay 20 bucks only to find their car in an impound lot after the game.

Compass Bowl? I'm trying to remember, was that the Independence Bowl? No, that was in Shreveport. Was that the Papa John's Pizza Bowl? Oh hell, that one was forgettable. I don't ever want to remember that bowl game again. That one almost cost Spurrier his job.

Better drink hard at your buddy's house... We didn't find much to do in Boringham as far as bars and stuff. Actually drove back to ATL after the game to go out.
