Outside of the Muschamp years Kentucky only has like 4 wins against us since 2000. The series isn’t really close

I think those straight ahead moves he did on KY won't be that effective and they will keep him just wide enough when he speed rushes to give the QB a little time.

But I know what you saying. BTW, Kyle Kennard on the other side has more sacks at this point that Stewart.

But sorry arse South Carolina?
Steve Spurrier is the all-time winning HC at Carolina

Mark Stoops is the all-time winning HC at Kentucky

Carolina has an all-time SEC win % some 10 points better than Kentucky - it's even larger when you consider UK's SEC results from 1992 - present -

you can not like or even hate USC all you want but historically - especially since the 1960's - South Carolina has been a better football program than Kentucky - USC has hired 3 National Champion football coaches in that time - Kentucky has hired none - Bear Bryant left in the 1950s -

which program has more Top 10 wins and wins over ranked teams since 1992?

Kentucky has beaten Tennessee 9 times since 1960 -

Carolina has beaten Tennessee 9 times since 2005 -

Yep KY O line did play terrible though. I will be watching just to see that matchup. You know those LSU tackles don't want to be embarrassed by a freshman.

And 7 of those are in the past 11 years. People have short memories.

We will see if Stoops is done or not.

He's made it clear that he's not happy with the way cfb is becoming with NIL.

If he wants to retire he can. He has made alot of money here. I don't think he's done though. He'd get at least another year if we miss out on a bowl game. And while he is not a flashy name he is paid the amount he is and is the longest tenured coach in this conference for a reason - he took us from a dumpster fire to giving us our best seasons since the 70s.

And lest we forget with the Sumrall hype, Neil Brown did great at Troy too. And while he hasn't been terrible at West Virginia, he hasn't done any better there than Stoops has here. So I am weary of kicking the guy to the curb who fixed what was beyond broke.

Yeah, last weekend really wasn't a big deal for us, Kentucky is just another game on our schedule. They aren't really anything special in terms of opponents.

Which, as a Kentucky fan is sad. South Carolina is a team we should never lose to no matter how bad we play.

Why? South Carolina is historically the better program going back to 1992.

South Carolina has won 30 more conference games than Kentucky since joining the conference in 1992 with a conference winning % .116 higher than Kentucky.

As much as I like Kentucky fans and have nothing against you all, this is bordering on a delusional take.

Prior to your streak that ran 2014-2018 (more on that later below), we were 17-7 against Kentucky all-time (series was 1-1-1 prior to 1992).

Back to the UK streak, yes, you won 5 in a row during that time, a time where we had checked-out Spurrier (2014, 2015), Muschamp (2016-2018). Skipping over Muschamp's lone UK win (2019), you then beat us again with Bobo in the Interim HC role (2020). Then beat us in Beamer's first season (2021). Remind me again how long Stoops has been building that program, and what he is paid? Beamer has beaten him 3 years in a row after losing his first.

At the peak of our owning of UK, we were +10; now the series is +7. We are just getting back to normalcy. As delusional as some UK fans are seemingly coming off, Gamecocks are the opposite. It is just straight fact we always penciled in UK as a win alongside Vandy every season.

We should limit the bragging on beating Tennessee the last 20 years. It will get crowded in here.

Other than a couple of schools, Tennessee can pull out the lifetime record and shut most of them up.
