Meh we did get better. We just sucked too hard at the beginning to make it now. You act like I was far off though

Maybe it’s becsuse the SEC is a 3 team conference with the remaining teams being pretty meh to bad?
And our losses outside of Wyoming were just better teams than us?

If we can win 5 out of our last 6 games and maybe grab a game in the SEC tournament I think we might have a chance. Ole Miss at home tomorrow night is huge for us.

Wed have to win the tourney

Being a South Carolina fan must be tough with all of the losing and not winning anything except for a couple of lucky years in baseball nearly a decade ago.
Must suck to suck.
Must suck to suck.

I don't think we'd have to win it. I think 13-5 in SEC would get us right on the bubble and a game or two in the SEC tournament would put us in.

I’m looking for all of the NCAA championships in men’s basketball and football that South Carolina has.

I’m looking for your penis

I think this is a pretty accurate statement. Three very good teams at the top the rest average or below average. Carolina should win 5 of last 6. If the twin is out for Miss. State could win all 6

all of the losing

not winning anything except for a couple of lucky years
lucky indeed. one of those uf banners lost twice in the regular season to eventual NIT champion USC as well as lost 6 of 16 SEC basketball games.

Baseball was successful long before those titles but I digress.
As for it sucking to be a Gamecock fan with no football or basketball titles I’m happy to say I don’t live my life around sports and many of us fans don’t live vicariously through teenagers to make us stick our chests out with pride.
Typical Florida trash.

Still hoping for the NIT. Any post-season play will be beneficial for the program. I think the SEC is currently the 3rd or 4th best RPI conference in the nation.....

I know the thread is about basketball but I am going to have to defend TnMoutaineer on this one. Historically speaking South Carolina has had some very good baseball teams, even before they joined the SEC. I would have to say they probably have been to Omaha just as many times as most SEC schools.

Rooster has explained this more eloquently than I ever could, but South Carolina got serious about baseball long before most SEC programs, when it hired Yankee great and Sumter native Bobby Richardson in 1970. He won over 200 games in only 7 seasons I believe.
