It was me. My new avatar is a self portrait. But believe me when I say that they aren't looking at the biggest point-shaver, Chubb.

I think Chubb is just naturally confused with the ball in his hands.

Yeah. Graduating this semester and entering the exciting world of unemployment more than likely.

I graduated smack in the middle of the recession. I've yet to use my college degree.

Don't worry, you'll find something that will pay the bills.

So has this been tied to Uncle Milty or Lowder yet??

Charles Robinson was on the Dan Patrick show a little while ago and said there didn't seem to be any major movement in Vegas on the two games they're investigating now, so it's possible that it's coming from someone local.

The FBI got Ward's phone and put him on a lie detector test so we should know something soon

I've seen Lowder at the games. He usually splits at halftime if the team is laying an egg, though.
Uncle Milty? Well, he already had the FBI all up in his shite, but maybe he's a glutton for punishment.

I said this yesterday. I'll bet that it was him and one of his homeboys cooking up a plan to get some extra money. His buddy bets a couple grand, and they split the profits.

This is the most plausible explanation I've heard yet.

I think that's what Kenny Gabriel felt like doing to Ward yesterday, too. His anger probably had a lot to do with him getting in early foul trouble and having an "off game."

How do you point shave if you don't play. Looking at the box score against Arkansas in the 3 point loss he played under a minute unless i'm mistaken.

He was "injured" early in that game. Some speculate he faked the injury. Not sure why if you needed to shave points. Maybe he had second thoughts about it and decided to go down rather than actively shave.

Gamblers want a fair bet... Charles knows the odds when he plays craps at a legal casino.....

Yeah that wouldn't make sense either. It would have to be the second thing you said.

uch!!! That is going to sting. Tulane got the hammer brought down on them if I am correct back in the day for point shaving.
You are NOT correct.. The NCAA has not issued sanctions since the 50s with regards to gambling... This does not appear to be a case they will start with...
BTW: Tulanes 'problems involved coaches, players, etc. and Tulane disbanded their program on their own...

Only a handful of point-shaving cases have been unearthed over the past 30 years. In fact, the NCAA hasn't sanctioned a program for that infraction since Kentucky earned a post-season ban in all sports 60 years ago
