So Bama fans are saying that North Texas and Kent St had a chance to be good this year and that is why they scheduled them?

Who cares at this point. LSU will win.

Oh St Resume > Bama resume

I am glad you consider La-Laf and Tulsa great wins. I guess if the BCS did their conferences would get automatic bids. Great resume builder there.

It also amazes me how many threads were created on SEC rant about how bad Mizzou and aTm were and how they are going to get manhandled when they play in the SEC, but yet so many of those same LSU fans are now making them out to be great resume builders because they are trying to justify why they want to play OSU. Funny people around here.

And what purpose does that serve? Some sweet offseason threads?

You judge conferences and schedules against eachother during the season because you have to in order to narrow the field.

I believe you think you're making some kind of argument, but I can't imagine a fan taking your stance. Are you talking about purely computer-calculated SOS?

Until the bowl season is over and you see the better match-ups play out, you have no idea what conference/teams are actually strong.

Assuming Okie St beats Stanford, then what? Will you be able to compare them to BAMA/LSU. No, because they did not get that chance. That is my sole reason for thinking OSU should be in the NC game. But now we will never know.

If Ohio St and Mich would have been granted a rematch 2006, we'd never know that Florida would have dominated them and maybe, just maybe, the SEC may not get the respect they get now.

But can you penalize a team for it? It's not the other team's fault that a program went to shite. They were trying to schedule a great match-up.

You really think a program will get bumped for playing an opponent that was good 10 years ago...

LOL.. Both of those teams are going bowling. ULL beat North Texas 30-10 (one of your OOC opponents) Just do the world a favor and admitt Bama got lucky the sports media loved them more than Okie State. It matters not to LSU who we play on 1/9/12.

Yeah, and if the shoe were on the other foot you would have a perpetual hard-on because of Bama's "resume".
It means a lot. LSU accepted the Oregon game LAST YEAR.
Oh yeah, Bama's season opener over VaTech a few years back had a huge impact on their "resume."
I just brewed a big, steaming pot of "Shut the frick Up". I think you should drink the whole damn thing.
