JFC.... you’re in the fricking playoffs which L$U has never sniffed a spot before and you can still find something to fricking complain about.

Here is a major criteria for the with how the CFP committee made their determination.
OSU and LSU both have 3 top 20 wins up to now... FORGET LAST WEEKS RATINGS OR TEAMS PLAYED DURING THE SEASON WHO HAVE BUSTED. IT IS NOT RELEVANT.
lsu beat the #5, #11, and #15 teams rated today.
Osu bear the #10, #12, and #19 rated teams.
Now, LSU plays non-ranked A&M this week and OSU plays #12 rated Michigan.
If OSU wins I doubt that Michigan drops out of the top 2o. They might, if they get slaughtered. So, that would give them 4 top 2o wins if things go as planned. subsequently, I don't think Cincinnati will beat Memphis @ Memphis. So, again we will be at 3 and 3. That will leave us with the conference championship games where both teams will play top 20 schools, if not both playing top 10 teams.
I buy it...It is actually easy to figure out. The OOC schedule is very similar also as both teams opponents that they have beaten have almost identical records, about 10 games above 500. The big difference there is OSUs G5 opponents are at the top of their league...FAU, Miami (OH) and Cincinnati.
It is pretty close really.

Sorry that we are in a bizzaro world on this page with some delusional half-wits. Ohio State was up 21-0. I point that out and I get downvoted. Downvoted by mouth breathing knuckle dragging bitches

Unfortunately, every fan base has that, Taurus. Yes, it was 21-0, and really should have been 28-0 if Fields hadn't fumbled that ball in the endzone…
The one team that concerns me and where I might, and I say might, give us the edge is Cincinnati.... They are not bad, obviously, but they have been squeaking out some wins lately against some pretty bad teams, East Carolina for one... I don't think they are top 20 but we will get a better picture Saturday against #18 Memphis.

Yep I agree. Part of the problem is their QB. He can’t throw consistently. He relies on his legs and his size. Desmond Ritter I think is his name. But he gets rattled in the pocket way too often. The Bearcats defense is what keeps them in the game. They will need a lot more than a solid defense against Memphis. They will need to get the ground game going and ball control.

They have some decent runners in Warren and Doak, but you are right about the key for them being ball control... They have some decent receivers to, but like you say, Ridder is very inconsistent.. That decent is usually pretty good, but I saw them against a bad East Carolina team, and boy, that sophomore QB threw for over 500 yards... Memphis State on defense is not very good at all so it might be an entertaining game, or Memphis might win big.

Except the big10 is overrated. tOSU has great athleats. Not so much the other teams in the big10.
Michigan is a joke. Wisconsin and Minnesota nothing but slow 3 stars.
Alabama's schedule this year was poor. It's still better than ACC and Utah.
Alabam is a solid team but lacks any experience at many crucial positions. When you recruit too many top players they stay 3 years and leave.

This isn't rocket science. Right now if LSU wins out they are in. If things go a certain way UA has a slim chance to move to the 4 spot. Committee does not want that rematch in the semis. If LSU only loses to UGA in Atlanta they will drop to 4 and UGA will move 3. Again avoid having a SEC rematch in the semis.
OSU or LSU who really cares. Most believe they will meet in the CG. So as long as they are 1 or 2 it does not matter.

Lol it’s wrong that we’ve been in control of every game we’ve played? I’d love to hear how
