I think Georgia would be good to let him walk. He’s only a national title winning QB because Alabama’s offense fell apart due to a litany of non-contact ligament injuries over the course of the season. He cannot win a game where Alabama or others with talent and good QBs get the game out of the 20s.

Well, Bama has always stretched the truth.

Don’t care about the nfl qualifier. They were national championship throws though
Yep, got the job done.
And being a former walk-on makes it even better. Wasn't trying to dump on him, just being honest that he doesn't have a future in the NFL.

I'm not trying to dump on him either but Georgia fans are being result focused (elated they won a title with him) rather than process focused (stepping back and dispassionately analyzing their win and determining if it is replicable).
Do I think Georgia can repeat as national champions with Stetson Bennett as their quarterback understanding that they are about to have a huge roster departure like Alabama did after 2020 and LSU did after 2019?
The answer is no. Anyone with good sense and an eye for actually what is actually happening on a football field can tell you that confidently. He couldn't even play well enough to win the SEC this year with the 2021 UGA roster. Circumstances with the opponent changed and made what he could do minimally viable to win that national title.
Georgia needs an upgrade at quarterback to make an honest charge at defending their title.
I'm an Alabama fan, if I were being a real prick I'd be succ n' fuccing this kid and telling y'all you should let the guys behind him walk and commit to him. I'm not trolling. Y'all will not beat Alabama or whoever else emerges as elite in the SEC with Bennett and your 2022 roster.

It might be good for him to come back and get another good year of game experience and boost his draft stock.
Why do so many people think coming back for another year automatically means draft stock will go up.

Dude should ride off into the sunset as a Georgia legend with that being his Jordan 98 moment.
Let’s be real, finances will never be an issue for him lol.

True, with a name like
Stetson Fleming Bennett IV
I would assume his family is probably hella rich, plus all the NIL $ he is probably raking in after our Natty, money is probably no issue for him, ever.

Bryce looks thin and more like 5’11” and maybe 180-185. I don’t believe the 194. One of my sons is 6’ and 190 and he looks huge compared to Bryce Young. But, it’s easy to look smallish next his offensive line and most others on the Bama team.
