Auburn and uga have the same number of national titles and uga leads in every other conceivable metric in which to compare programs besides heisman winners (3 to 2 for au). An au fan that wouldn't trade histories with uga is historically dumb.

And I would take 3 undefeated seasons, 2 national championship appearances, 1 heisman, being at some of the most exciting games in college football history, and being in Scottsdale Arizona to watch my team win it all during my Junior year of college, all in my lifetime, over bragging about a bunch of wins a lifetime ago. Who gives a crap about historical accomplishments if I wasn't there to enjoy any of it??

First, wrong.

LMAO!

Your program is an embarrassment. You can't even contend for division titles much less conference titles and you're coming off one of your worst 10 year records in UT history.

You'd trade places with UGA in a heartbeat.

judging by total number of wins, according to Stassen.com. Evidently they surpassed UT year before last.

Twice, at least, in the past 8 years they were the second best team in the country.

The problem was that they shared the conference with the best team in the country both years.

Georgia has not won a Natty in football for a while but they have almost always been a quality program.

The Dogs seem to be trapped in that "really good but not great" syndrome. Year after year they roll out excellent teams that seem to be missing that one key ingredient to win a national title but can still win 8-10 games without batting an eye.

I suspect that Georgia has not managed to land the great coach that can carry them over the finish line. An amazing football program but they need someone to get them over the hump.
