Well, I can't go quite this far, although I have many friends who are Bama fans. I'll say this: I respect their passion and fire. And although I usually look at people like this and say "look at that stupid fricker", it is always followed by a giggle and the realization that no one should take themselves too seriously. All of us have wack job fans, and that's what makes the whole experience so colorful.

Now, I will say that I wish the SEC had more "colorful" fans like this:

LSU has an awesome game day atmosphere. And the stadium is loud, like made me disapointed in my Ole Miss fans this season cause it seemed like no one was yelling. The LSU fans aren't as big of asses as everyone says either. Only other place I have been is State and all I got is that the cheese spread they sell is good.

Alabama - Uniforms, and I really like Bryant Denny
Auburn - The eagle is awesome
LSU - "It is now saturday night in Death Valley" (Its a pretty intimidating thing to hear, luckly we had all but put the game away at that point this year)
Vandy - Academics
UK - Basketball Tradition
Florida - The walls in the swamp
Arkansas - Great road trip to F-ville, (Before they started to hate/envy/despise Ole Miss)
Ole Miss - Dixie and our campus

LSU-food, golden band, and TS is cool.

AU-Many good friends live there. I also like that AU has a late night pizza place besides dominoes or pizza hut that serves really good pizza(Little Italy Pizzaria), and its also cheap.

UGA-their music scene is excellent.

Vandy-Nashville.

Arkansas - dad grew up in arkansas. always appreciated them for that reason.

LSU - although i think most are there just for the party, i love the LSU student section zeal and volume. i mean, where else in the nation are you gonna have people ALL randomly dress up as their different favorite superheroes with their team's colors? their fans are the loudest mofos on earth.

<went to LSU vs Tenn SEC championship game>. that stadium seemed to be at BEST 5:3 as a ratio of Tenn vs LSU fans...and the LSU fans were WAY, WAY louder.

AU - Die suckers. j/k (the eagle is easily the only cool thing about that school. "War Eagle" is a badass phrase)

MSU - no clue. honestly, MSU sucks. i mean, cowbells for GOD's sake.

OM - i dig their school. i like their threads. their fans/program always seemed classy to me.

Tenn - fight song. fan base seems die-hard. gotta respect that. winning history. unique uniform colors.

Vandy - great academics?? that's cool.

FLA - they've been the SEC reigning bad-asses forever. pure respect for that. i love pulling for Florida on the OOC games because i know they're gonna represent. they win... period. (also LOVE it when Bama gets a shot at them. seems like the games are always among the best i've ever seen EVERY time i see them)

So. Caro - somehow they pull off hiring legendary coaches.

UGA - "athens is awesome. their campus rules" (wouldn't know, haven't been there)

UK - i respect any fanbase that sticks by a losing program. that's not meant to be a jab AT all. nothing but love for folks like that. B-ball legends.

USC - 2001 intro

AU - the Eagle glying around Jordan Hare is pretty cool

Bama - when they play a clip of Bear Bryant rumbling over the speakers

UT - TN River and VOl NAvy

UGA - Hedges

OM - Leaving Oxford (just kidding) the Grove is nice

LSU - I like the fans dedication to truly hating other schools(makes for a good rivalry), and the eye of the tiger in the middle of the field is pretty sweet.

Auburn - eh, i like the team colors

Ole miss- the rebel as a mascot is cool

South Carolina - I love the hot girls wearing the I love Cocks T-shirts

Tennessee - the checkboard endzone and the stadium being fully enclosed, the way Bama's will be in two years :)

Florida - the big orange walls are pretty neat looking

Kentucky - the solid blue uniforms are sweet

Arkansas - I just can't think of anything

Miss State - Same as arkansas

Georgia - I will always love the UGA that bit the auburn player and his predacessors for that reason

Vanderbilt - The black uniforms are sweet

I remember the 2001 SECCG against TENN, The Georgia dome looked like someone filled it with cheetos, it was easily 80% UT.

RE: AU War Eagle

Locally, Rogers, Ark just opened a second high school a year ago called Heritage High.

Their school colors are orange and blue and the mascot is the War Eagles.

There is an old mill called War Eagle out in the hills east of Rogers, but the Auburn association is hard to miss.

I wish Alabama had a live mascot like LSU, or some of the others. Even if the elephant had to stay in an enclosed habitat, how cool would it be to have one?

shite lol just hope that thing doesn't run out into the street stepping on cars and pedestrians and kids and such

It was the same in 2007...all the way down to the outcome of the game.

yeah, if my memory served me better than it usually does, i would have been less conservative with my 5:3 ratio. my MEMORY would have me tell you that it's more like 5:2.

it was like, there was an LSU section that covered at an angle behind one of the uprights. and the entire rest of the stadium was pure orange. (which is why i said i respect the Tenn fanbase... they show up, and they might be better known as "Legion")

In LSU's defense, in 2001 they didn't know that they were going to the SECCG until the week before. By that time the Vols had gobbled up almost all of the tickets available to the general public. LSU still brought over 25,000 fans to Atlanta though.

THis is about how I remember it.

This true in that we did not find out we were going until the week before, but the same was for UT. If I recall, the LSU/AU game got moved due to 9/11 and same for the TENN/FLA game. One of the main reasons I heard there were so many Tenn fans is that all in all the trip to ATL was easier for Tenn fans.
