Personal reasons aside, I think this dude should challenge the system and try to get drafted. Of course I am biased, he is a one man wrecking machine, but he could potentially cost himself millions of dollars if he gets hurt next year. He is NFL ready #1 pick. He has a case, and if I was him I would try to make that case. Yes. I'm scared.

You can call me asshurt all day long, it doesn't change the fact that Clowney's talent is being squandered at Carolina.

Wouldn't we all be happier, and Clowney happier, taking down a quarterback in the national championship, or at the very least, the SEC Championship?

It's common knowledge that he's going to the NFL after this next season. What will be his biggest game in college? Unless SC runs the East next year, his biggest games are Clemson and UGA wins, Moral Titles that got them 3rd in the East.

At some point, enough whispers get to him, he's going to have some kind of injury so he doesn't get Lattimore'd by Spurrier like another meat pony.

I think it happens in October.

You are the only person in the world that thinks Clowneys talents are being "squandered" at Carolina

LOL I'm sure you wished Clowney would have gone elsewhere.

Get ready to get skullfricked again next year, dawg

USCe is one of the few schools that could have squeezed him in academically, although Bama certainly would have tried.

You know the Chiefs are pissed they got the number one pick this year when there isn't a consensus number one player. They'd take Clowney first in a second if he was eligible.

He's got a ton of hype around him, breaking records, #1 draft pick most likely. What exactly would be different about that at Bama?

Sure he plays on a better team, but he chose to stay at home and he's living legend around here and nationally. Quit being asshurt.

Rings...so far.

And it kills me to say that.

But how can you exceed past a #1 draft pick prediction and all the hype already surrounding him? Rings would just give him hardware, it's not like it would increase his draft stock.

I wish we could have known what he would do in Alabama's defense. Jason Taylor won a NFL MVP in this same defense with Saban at Miami.

If we had a pass rusher like him . . . geez, I can only imagine.

Clowney might be less likely to get injured at Bama too. We play in way more blowouts in which 2nd and 3rd string get on the field than USCe does. Just saying by decreasing his time on the field less likely to hurt himself before NFL.
