You think that there's no validity to what I said at all? That he's less likely to get injured if he spends significantly more time on the sidelines?

I'm not talking about the stats he would throw up. I'm talking about what's in Clowney's best interests (in terms of his own safety and finances).

Pretty sure NFL scouts would take note of how dominant he played when he was actually in and would realize his numbers aren't gaudy because he doesn't have to be in all game.

It's not in his best interest to play an hour from home, under one of the greatest SEC coaches of all time?

Clowney seems pretty unhappy about his decision to lead Carolina to its best run in its history and we all know that to be happy playing football you have to be busy doing prick sabans bidding and doing the same things that have been done by players before you.

Well there's what these kids play for. Weaker numbers and fewer highlight reels

And here I was thinking they went where they could get the earliest, most playing time

Maybe you didn't notice I said in his best interests in terms of safety and finances. I don't know why you're throwing around red herrings. All I'm saying is he'd be less likely to get hurt at Bama. Don't know why you're getting so defensive. You can't really argue against this fact. Keep trying if you want to though

See above post. Why do you keep throwing around stuff irrelevant to his likelihood of injury. I'm must talking about safety.

Greatest part of this play was how it happened right after the refs went full blind retard and tried to frick us over. Basically its Clowney saying " FU refs...watch this"

I feel bad for him. He's so talented and that type of talent needs to be part of a national championship team. He could be pretty good on Bama D lineup - we would make him even better than he is.

Cock fans, what person in their right mind WOULDN'T be jealous, get real. He is NFL bound whether he played for Bama,SC,or anyone. Someone said it,the NC rings are the only difference,IMO. He is a millionaire to be either way.

Their playing time is what prepares them for the pros and gets them the recognition to get there. It's inextricably linked

Of course more playing time increases the risk of injury. It's a violent sport

Clowney wouldn't have to be the meat pony on a Bama team. He'd still stand out and get drafted high, but a much lower chance of injury because he wouldn't have to be the full time game changer.

I thought Latti and Shaw, and Spur's chess board genius, is what made Carolina great. Now it's Clowney?

What fake injury does Clowney "sustain" in October to keep Spurrier from ruining him?

High Ankle Sprain?

Academic Ineligibility?

Wow you are really reaching, huh? Bama has a good track record of developing talent and preparing them for the next level under Saban. If you're trying to argue that because Clowney wouldn't have to play through the fourth quarter at Bama he would miss out on developing in some way or being a top draft pick, then I want whatever it is you are on because it must be good.

You know what isn't stupid? Saying that by not having to play for 20 or so quarters at Bama that he would have to play through at South Carolina, his chances of getting injured at Bama would drop.

He's never had a fake injury, but now that he is Spurrier's meat pony, and he's proved all he needs to prove, he's going to protect himself and come up with something next season so he doesn't get ruined like Lattimore.

Will it be high ankle sprain or academics?
