You won't need it. Why do you need body armor when you have one of Memphis's finest in Rebelgator to protect us?

Seriously though we are talking about downtown memphis during the day. It's not bad at all.

Plus road, memphi now has this

Most people are at work or school at 9:30 AM bro. Wait and see how many are at the 4:30 game before we start complaining.

I've treated the baseball team the same way I treated the basketball team. Started going to games early, but the quality hasn't improved. I'm not a fan of Gaspard at all. But he won't be fired because Battle won't take the time to look for another HC after his basketball search. Its sad really, 'Bama baseball used to be fun.

They need the capacity at Hoover for what, maybe 1-2 games? This would be like keeping the SEC basketball tournament in the GA for the UK weekend games. SEC got it right by moving to Nashville and a smaller venue that is much better. Time for baseball to do the same.

They could at least let the kids out of school to go watch the Tide

Normally when Bama plays there are big crowds but not many are going to take off work for that game and the team they have this year.

When Bama is good the place will be packed

There are no night games?

Will the thugs not be attracted to all the pretty cars to steal? Will carjacking not be an option for them?

Frick Memphis.

Knoxville and Baton Rogue faithful would have this bitch packed for this meaningless game that neither of their teams are playing in.

Put it in a new town with access to new fanbases, and yeah, there'd be a larger turn-out, simply because there are thousands of fans in every SEC state who have never had the option of driving a couple of hours or less to watch it.

That's the point of wanting a rotation. To expose it to new fans and keep the enthusiasm fresh.

Take it out of Alabama for four years and then you'd see fans more interested in going once it came back.

downtown Memphis is fine bro. Autozone is on the busiest street downtown and at a big intersection. It's no more dangerous than most other major downtown cities. For instance, go to Turner field in Atlanta and tell me you feel safer than you do at Autozone Park.

Memphis just had music fest, and BBQ fest. Outside of chicks wrestling naked in the mud and some DUI's there were not any huge crimes. You can park in garages or outside.

Car jacking can happen in any town, city, ect. You'd have to get the numbers from Rebelgator, but I doubt it's a huge worry in downtown memphis. If you stick to Downtown right off Beale you'll be fine.

Because frickLSU®.

Like, seriously. The league office is fricking LSU over when every game would be a fricking sellout in BR. I guess that much attention on LSU fan would give the league an Oakland Raiders reputation that nobody wants.

I don't know why this keeps getting repeated. LSU wins the SECT all the time. I don't think anyone thinks it being played at Hoover hurts LSU. What everyone is saying is it'd be a more enjoyable event for everyone if it rotated. The SEC is just too lazy and doesn't care so they're not going to go through the trouble of addressing it.

I don't believe you. Memphis is third world bad.

I watch that one show on TV about 48 hours to solve a murder. Memphis don't play. Straight up Thugville. I'm telling you.

I just think it needs to be rotated. Give each city a chance to host the SEC Tourn.
