Someone on this board or Tiger rant said the umps were gonna make sure LSU didn't sweep.

All of this bitching about refs and umps is embarrassing.

The home plate umpire was fricking terrible for both teams today. Was hard to watch and definitely not the reason LSU lost.

Why do you suppose that all the umps would conspire to-do such a thing ... what was their motivation?

Don’t do this. The ump was garbage, but he didn’t mind who was pitching. He was garbage for A&M as well.

vidtiger23 is correct. The walks issued for the weekend were LSU 16 and A&M 24. Which lineup do you think is more dangerous if pitchers are forced to groove it to get a strike call?

Agree when they were absolutely shitty for both teams. But it can’t be said enough how absolutely awful all three home plate umps were in the LSU-A&M series. The strike zone was a moving target all weekend. Even a terrible strike zone that was consistent would have been ok. They couldn’t even manage that.
