Everyone's focused on the teams they have beaten with most of them more or less of the "meh" variety. However, their two losses were to UK (-3) and to LSU (-3 in OT). They're close to being unbeaten.

They did whip South Carolina AT South Carolina, 27-3. This is what they can do.

They just whipped Arkansas by 32 points, beat OU by 12, and they whipped Wake Forest by 34 points. They can take you to the woodshed and lay a board upside your noggin' if need be.

Against Arkansas, Dart set an all-time SEC record for QBs when he passed for over 500 yards while throwing 6 TDs without a single INT. No other QB in SEC history has ever done that before.

Dart also leads all of the NCAA with 3,210 passing yards. He's thrown for 21 TD's, which is 3rd best in the college ranks.

Ole Miss is #2 in the nation in total offense.....#22 in total defense....#2 in rushing defense......#6 in scoring defense........#2 in team sacks. Their only downfall is being #91 in passing defense (right now it shouldn't be anything to worry about because Beck is in a funk).

For Georgia, we lead the series with Ole Miss, 33-13-1 and the Dawgs have won 12 of the past 13 meetings with the Rebs. But, under Kirby Smart, we're only 1-1, having lost 45-14 in our last visit to Oxford in 2016.

UGA whipped Ole Miss last year, 52-17; however, Dart wasn't nearly as good last year as he's playing this year. Beck is just the opposite, playing much worse this year than last.

So, there you have it. Dawgs everywhere, beware.

I think the casual observer just asumese OM is all offense but they have fielded an excellent defnese this year. They are really efficient on both sides of the ball.

prior to the season I would have counted this as a near-gimme with UT being a really close tossup but I feel the opposite now. We should be able to handle UT but it woulnd't surprise me at all to leave oxford with a loss.

We already dismissed them, that's why they are #16.

It's kind of amazing we're this late in the season and UGA and Ole Miss have a grand total of 1 common opponent this year.

That would be UK, who neither UGA nor Ole Miss played well against and UGA beat by 1 on the road while Ole Miss lost by 3 at home.

That suggests UGA is about 7 points better than OM at a neutral site, 4 points better at OM. If both teams play to the same level (both play their best game for example) that feels about right. but that means there's a very reasonable shot of UGA losing. A four point dog wins outright 38% of the time.

They are also at home and its most likely an elimination game for the CFP for them. Going to be a tough one for certain....

My insiders say the Ole Miss staff is desperate for this win in order to have a convincing resume' for the CFPC to include them. They will play with a 'nothing to lose' type mentality. That's dangerous.

It will come down to line play. Disrupt them at LOS and make sure your dbs turn their heads and you should be in it. But yes. Dart can go off and they have some insane mismatches at WR as well as a heck of a dline(or at least compared to our OL).

Totally agree.

We have to: control the LOS, RUN the daggum ball, stop their run, and NO TO's!! Talk about a game to be played and decided in the trenches, this is it.

If you can run on them and OM cant get a push on you and you’re pressuring Dart consistently(and no TOs by your O). That’s about as well as you can do. Dart has learned a lot from last year and most of his deep ball misses are now intentional and he can still sling Shart Darts over the middle and dink and dunk people like crazy. We did fine against their run and our DC totally didn’t even appear to have game-planned for his passing ability. Not saying they wouldn’t have beaten us, but we let ourselves get curb stomped at home and quit.

We're averaging 3 picks per game. I wouldn't overlook a High School team right now.

It is highly unusual to have 3 turnovers in a game and win at any level. If it is not cleaned up everyone left on the schedule can beat UGA except UMAass.

The spread is down to -2.5, so obviously there are plenty of people not dismissing Ole Miss, myself included.

I wouldn't touch this game if I was a bettor.
