Is Tailgating at Tennesee really that big?
it's plenty big but spread out all over campus and the surrounding areas.

As long as I'm having a good time, I could care less if it is overrated or not. Some people like it, others don't.

I'm not offended. It's that Choctaw never misses an opportunity to hate on Ole Miss.

How long before someone poisons the magnolias to prove a point?

however tennessee at #1 is a joke.
I'm guessing they get bonus points for the Vol Navy and the boatgating on the river.

I tend to agree, though I've only had one game day in Oxford experience.
LSU is still my favorite, and probably always will be, though I haven't been down there in 10 or so years and I've heard it's changed a little.
One place that surprised me was Starkville. The campus and town are kind of janky, but they had a pretty decent tailgating scene.

Alabama has gotten a lot better. Were like the grove but more space and we can actually cook food.

Yep, I was surprised. It had been a few years since I had been to T-town. The UA/LSU game was a great atmosphere. The Quad was legit, and much much more put together than I previously recall.

While The Grove is a little overrated it was a good time and adds a certain uniqueness to tailgating so I like it. I enjoy the fact that at LSU most food is cooked at the tailgate instead of bought. Both are fun just different. As mentioned there are some LSU tailgate traditions I could do without.

When I was a student, I'd get up at like 2:30 the morning of the game. I'd start cooking/grilling the food. Then I would cook a big breakfast and take it to The Grove as well. Luckily I lived really close to campus so the food was always still hot when I got to the tent.

I see people cooking in the grove on the reg. But please, don't let facts get in the way of your played-out, LSU fan narrative.

Yep, just have to put the grill out the roads that surround it. Pretty easy to see if you aren't being a blind homer. You know how I know it's offseason? Threads like this. I'd be willing to bet that there will be at least 100 more just like this until September gets here.
