Look up the YouTube video about the political origins of the Alabama Auburn rivalry.

There was bad blood long before football.

1 game off makes me stupid...ok bammer 7-4-1 are you happy now?

I apologize for that comment, that was out of line and unnecessary.

But yes, as soon as you say Auburn only won 1 of the last 5 before the break, I'll be happy.

According to Stassen.com, in the 40 years they didn't play, Alabama won 266 games, which amounts to 77% of the games they played, and was ranked #2 behind only Notre Dame for the time frame.

Auburn won 199 games, which was about 58%, ranking #74 in the nation, behind such notables as Brown, Louisiana Monroe, and San Jose State.

everyone knows that auburn is the only team to beat bama consistently...imagine if you played us during that span and how roles could easily been reversed...

Oh yeah, and The Iron Bowl was when the two teams played yearly at Legion Field in Birmingham, which was called The Steel City of the South.

It's not The Iron Bowl anymore.
