So who chokes worse? Georgia or Oklahoma?

Oklahoma’s most recent championships are 2000 and 1985. Literally only 1 more championship than Georgia in the last 40 years. That being said, since 2000, Oklahoma has had FOUR HEISMAN WINNERS. They went to the championship or playoff in 2000, 2003 (lost the conference championship on the way there in an absolute destruction to KSU), 2004, 2008, 2015, 2017 and came out with one championship. 2 of those championship or playoff appearances were absolute arse kickings where they clearly never belonged.
If they lose to Bama this year, it’s clear to me that the hate on Georgia needs to be redirected to Oklahoma. Or they need an Ole Miss type name change to the Oklahoma Falcons.

No fair. Oklahoma playing in that conference gives them way more opportunities to choke on the big stage

OU has had the benefit of coasting by on a weak league. They think they are one of the blue bloods of college football, but they’ve been mostly a paper tiger more often than not.

Lot of idiocy in this thread. But that’s expected from Texas JV fans and fake Bama fans.

Do you have a retort? Dude presented a decent argument. Care to counter?

Bump for Oklahomey to present his argument.

Oklahoma has choked away some opportunities. But they get there. Since their 2000 title, they’ve held their own. Georgia FINALLY played for a national title for the first time since 1982 and has had several disappointing years under Richt.
I’m not complaining. Just glad I’m not Georgia.
In the poll era; Georgia has the same amount of national titles as Texas A&M, TCU, Syracuse, Maryland, BYU, Georgia Tech.....less national titles than Minnesota, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Army, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Clemson.
Congrats UGA on Rose Bowl win vs. OU; but you sure know how to choke away Championships to Alabama!

Oklahoma has choked away every title or playoff opportunity since 2000.
2003: #2 LSU 21, #1* Oklahoma 14 (asterisk because USC was actually #1 in both polls)
2004: #1 USC 55, #2 Oklahoma 19 (the fact that USC had to vacate it doesn't make Oklahoma the champion)
2008: #2 Florida 24, #1 Oklahoma 14
2017: #3 Georgia 54, #2 Oklahoma 48

I agree that Georgia in the Big 12 would be in the playoffs every yr.

Has your team even made it to the playoff?
