Hypothetically why would Michigan want to take the Deboer contract off of Alabama's hands?
And he may not be wanting to deal with the expectations they have currently at Bama, so Michigan would be a respectable exit plan. He might not get a similar chance again, and if they lose to Oklahoma things will be crazy.

In other words you think he's an elite coach in spite of what would be eight losses in two years.
I mean maybe. I guess if Michigan is really sold on it and overpaid maybe. I just don't think the elite part is in evidence.
I know this is a troll board and a troll thread. I just dunno about him being the guy who can win the SEC or a national championship.

Currently reading the ongoing Moore situation- he has now been arrested.
Yeah, I can see Michigan spending whatever it takes to get an established, stable, "perceived to be mature" guy, to try to keep their program from cratering.
Not sure who fits that bill.
