Sunday morning ESPN radio interview with JJ - he said "Louisville is probably the best D we'll play all year." He sounded pleased that the worst part of the season was behind him.

yeah I looked and couldnt even find where he was on the radio on ESPN sunday, let alone any quotes close to this. He could have said it, this could be out of context, who knows

I googled and looked for about ten minutes to no avail. Surely it's out of context.... I mean that's the definition of locker room material if true. Seems it must be out if context, right?

That Louisville D you call "stout" was replacing 8 starters.........
Maybe they also employ Dan Mullen's secret scheme called revoluting or rotating or something like that. I wonder when other SEC teams will try to adopt that strategy.

Ok so when Auburn runs 75 plus plays a game it was too difficult on the defense so they slow it down and now something is wrong with the offense?

We were up 3 scores in the second half. Our qb was not playing well at all, actually to me the entire offense looked off just not in sync yet.... I hope. We had a couple of starters get hurt on d and they were getting gassed chasing that little dart qb around the field. So why not slow down and burn clock off. In that situation there is no need for us to go fast and out our d in a bad spot

Truth be told, it was a double edged sword.
Do you shut the passing game down, take an ugly W, and hope JJ magically improves before the big test coming?
Or do you practice the pass so that hopefully he doesn't go into a panic in br?
You secure victory. Petrino helped with his timeout.

You can't simulate what he'll be seeing next weekend.

If it can't be simulated then why try it with UL?

Should have been specific. Impossible to get a good look vs a scrub at home.

So Auburn shouldn't even play? What's your fricking point

You'll forgive me for taking a wait and see approach as opposed to just saying it can't be done.

Wouldn't expect you to feel differently.
So anyway was that a fake quote or what?

We're trying to emulate the crimson tide offense under Sir Lane Kiffen.

Louisville kept the ball for a long time.

1min and 40 sec more than Auburn.

Auburn ran 63 vs South Carolina, and 68 vs Ole Miss last year
