Reading what the tigerbait65 (AD) posted. I'm pretty amazed he was able to get a job in an educational setting. He comes off as a 15 year old, uneducated piece of trash. It's clear from that post, his bias against Bama, and that he in no way had the best interest of the kid at heart. He does a disservice to the students under him at the H.S. and to decent Lsu fans.

I doubt it. Seems like that would be against their best interests.

Looks like the PNJ article was taken down. So I think Watson will be fine.

Paige can thank his former Washington HS administrator's for fricking up his football future.

As a 3 star, he was border-line anyway and wasn't guaranteed a spot on LSU or UA's final recruit list.

I have a feeling he won't get another look from Bama - the negative pub didn't help him jump up Saban's prospect list.

Pretty sure you're dead wrong on that one.

We need a true NT in this class, and the staff is very high on Paige.

What? Alabama's coaches were actually upset when that happened. It was believed he would go to Oxford High School.

I don't think you could be more wrong. He may be a bit of a project, but many of the NGs we bring in tend to be. It's the nature of finding those type bodies at the high school level. While he's a borderline academic case, Alabama is in need of depth at the position for 2013.

A University of Alabama spokesperson has declined to comment on the situation (because doing so would be an NCAA violation in itself). Meanwhile, The Mobile Press-Register reports that Foley High’s block schedule would allow a student — Paige — to earn up to eight credits in a school year as opposed to the six credits the same student could grab at Washington High. In that case, it would make sense for a player needing to make academic improvements to switch to a school that offers more potential credits and more room for improvement.

Not a really bright statement. Paige is verey highly thought of by not only bama but LSU and FSU. Kid will blow up on a decent team....

I can hear nick now. "I don't know pruitt, 247 only has him rated as a 3 star, I'm not sure we should have offered."

When Alabama, LSU, and FSU are heavily recruiting you, you are either a really good football player or have the potential to be a really good football player. He could likely go anywhere in the country

OK - My statement about Paige was wrong - I obviously didn't know he was so highly sought after right now.

WTF??? It would appear that the butthurt person would be the person who is recommending the transfer... Butthurt that someone tried to get the kid to go to LSU.

Not really, the kid cannot become qualified for college at Washington because they only offer 6 credits per year, while Foley offers 8 credits and he needs 7 credits to be able to go to college. Plus he is not the only player transfer out, their best wide out will transfer to Milton High School and he is going to USA.
I think the AD at washington relaying info about the kid on the internet was kind of a low blow, so I doubt the parents or kid want to be around that dude to much... JMO
