Once again, no, Corky. We want to play UF and UT like we have traditionally.
Yeah, I believe that. I'm sure if Awbun had UF & UT on the schedule and not UGA and Bama, they'd be fighting to get that switched.

We aren't trying to switch Bama and UGA for UT and UF. We want all 4 of those games.
Seriously, what's wrong with you? Are you flat out stupid or do you hate Auburn so much you are unwilling to listen to reason?

I mean, there is a good chance that Cobb is retarded based on past posts, but I think what he's getting at is:
If the 2 teams that weren't on your schedule that you had traditionally played were Alabama and UGA, that Auburn would not be fighting as hard to get the schedule "switched" so that they are also on the schedule.

But they are on our schedule...
What does that have to do with wanting to play traditional rivals? I grew up in FL and the AU/UF was always my favorite game.
The answer is a 9 game SEC schedule. That would at least allow us to see them more often.

I didn't say it's a good argument. Simply trying to help you understand what he was saying. Imagine a scenario where you did not currently have UGA and Alabama on your schedule. His comment is insinuating that you wouldn't be fighting to get them ON in that hypothetical... At least as far as I could read it... He could also be counting to Potato right now...

bullshite. The answer is the Roommate Switch. 9 game schedule does frick all for fixing the current imbalance. UGA will play Texas A&M for the first time since they joined the SEC in 2019... We won't go to College Station for another 6 years (?) I think... The roommate switch means you will play every team 2x in 4 years, minimum.

Some of you mental giants do not remember AU played TN, UF, UGA and Bama every year. Nobody from AU complained, in fact the fans hated it when we had to drop UT and UF.

Likely. He's probably painting his body and bald head for the game tomorrow.

Never heard of it before. Interesting...
I just hate that there are kids on our roster that will never get to play a UF or UT as it stands now.

Yeah, generally, I think *most* of us kinda feel the same way about not playing LSU, Texas A&M, even Ole Miss (prior to the Freeze fallout)... As much as we all give each other shite, playing SEC teams that aren't on your schedule every year is fun. I really want to make the roadtrip to Arky sometime after hearing many unbiased fans accounts of Fayetteville.
I think the Roommate Switch is the best way to make it happen. I also think there is a snowball's chance in hell that the SEC ever implements it, because we are not terribly progressive now. Once you have a dominant position, more of the same is generally the course of action until that position is compromised. ie. If it ain't broke, don't fix it... and as far as the conference is concerned, it ain't broke.

I thought I remembered reading that the Roommate Switch was predicated on having 16 teams in a conference? So 4 mini-divisions, that rotated around in the "roomate switch"y fashion.
Edit: Just looked at it again, and I was wrong. My b. LINK

Nobody said you were, dickwad. You might want to get someone to read posts and 'splain them to you. Let me run this by you again. Read slowly. If UGA and Bama were not on your schedule, none of you Aubies would be campaigning to get them on it. You want UF and UT because they're weak at the moment. But then again, you just lost to UT so the move might very well backfire. Just stop the whining, the motives are obvious.

So it is ok if the change favors UGA, but it is not ok if the change favors Auburn.
We didn't "make the change".It was due to expansion but the "change" doesn't benefit either team...which is the way it should be.
