So the 24 team playoff would have to have 8 first round byes, right?

That means a bottom 16 team could end up playing 4 rounds.

Yeah there’s going to be massive schedule changes as well. The season is going to have to end sooner since they’re playing more playoff games.

Not as stupid as the idea that an 8-4 23rd seed Baylor has any chance in hell to buzzsaw their way through 5 games to a National Championship.

With the sec being so deep I dont think for any reason we should play 9 conference games and then that playoff. Half your team will be hurt . The other soft conferences can rest players we cant.

Why? I’m all for protecting students but these guys are mercenaries(well paid mercenaries at that) I’m ok with better gsmes for my viewing pleasure

Because we can’t expect a group of students dents still beholden to keep up with classes be it online or in person to play an NFL season. We haven’t even added extra games yet just one extra sec game and one less OOC game and Bama is down nearly 10 players and I’m sure the rest of the sec has injuries as well. They can only take so much.

Are we going to lose our yearly SEC vs ohio valley conference games? I wonder if they will let more pre season practices happen now since theyre employees
