Sankey brought in two extra teams to the league, screwed up the schedule, and not a single team got one extra penny. Plus a screwed up CFP format.
Sankey needs to be kicked in his mofo arse and SEC needs to hire a real Commissioner who will lawyer up and make sure SEC teams get at least as much TV money as the B1G teams and Notre Dame.
I get he has a punchable face. But, as the unanimous vote to extend his contract (& many others) shows, Sankey’s only doing the schools’ bidding. Your argument’s with your own admin, not him.

I've personally known the last 3 SEC commissioners.
Kramer was the most respected man in college football, and when he spoke, everyone listened. He demanded the BCS and it happened. When at first the Big X and Pac 12 didn't want to participate because of the Rose Bowl, they were left out and later came begging.
Mike Slive was one of the smartest and most genuine guys I've ever met (hard to believe he was a lawyer). Hard to argue the conference's success under him as he cleaned up a lot of stuff Kramer ignored.
Sankey is from the compliance side of things and is a complete choad. He is difficult to even have a conversation with.
Sitting around with Kramer and Slive was awesome. You felt like you were among royalty and hung on every word. When I've been around Sankey, I'm usually looking for a reason to duck out.

Just go to the Big Ten. Stop trying to instigate a plebe mutiny for your own personal reasons. You're not gonna get your revenge on Sankey.

how do you go to "personal reasons" when they discussion is on conference wide issues? Can you attempt to learn when to troll and when to have a discussion?

He has no balls if he doesn’t go to a 9 game sec schedule
Everyone is tired of the FCS Nov game. If the new contract guarantees 4 SEC spots I don’t see the issue. Give the fans more games

quote:Probably an accurate assessment of the personal qualities of those three; I'm not a Sankey fan at all. But, in regard to the current contract, it must be pointed out that the original mistake, which has lead to a cascading series of mistakes, was to give ESPN a 15 year contract in 2008. The SEC has been chasing it's tail ever since, with one band-aid fix after the other. 2034 is still a ways away, and my fear is that the confernence will, once again, pursue a short term fix before 2034 rather than taking all our rights to the market at once to finally figure out what they are worth.
