So, say FSU were to announce that Travis would return in time for the playoff.

Say they lied about it.

They'd probably be in, no? We're gonna let them make judgment calls based on injured players now?

Congrats to Bama, as you probably think I'm jabbing you guys. But this decision by the committee seems pretty stupid if you think about it.

But all FSU had to do was say "Oh Travis will be good to go soon", and then ride it out.

That's all it would have taken. Kinda fricked up .

It’s 6am and Bama is on your mind.

Also everyone in America saw Travis’ leg snapped in half

They shouldn’t have played a clearly concussed QB for almost a whole quarter! They have no regard for their player safety and the committee has no regard for their coaches feelings

FSU was getting jumped by Texas anyway. If UGA had won, UGA , UM, UW, and UT would be the 4…. It is what it is

Huh? This is a legitimate point. In the future, teams are going to better hide the status of their players, mark my words.

I’m not sure which Monty Python sketch this comes from, the Black Knight (it’s just a flesh wound), or the Parrot sketch (he’s just pining for the fjords). Yeah, the committee would have surely fallen for it.

Projection. He's talking about playoff committee decisions considering one injury.
