Because he fricked up big time by lying, and his lawyer advised him to cover his arse up.

Because compliance departments want something concrete and under oath. It isn't hard to understand unless you just really where hanging your hopes on Rush Propst actually having dirt on Alabama and Georgia and are sad it didn't happen.

As to why he'd agree to do it? He's a couple weeks or less from being fired for unethical behavior and unemployed AGAIN. He's already ensured through his behavior that he'll never work in an Alabama high school again. Odds are extremely high that Georgia's about to be added to that list.

IF he manages to escape criminal charges yet again, his job opportunities as a coach at the high school level are extremely limited. He's financially broke (which is why he was trying to steal money from the local quarterback club to start with) so he's got to get another job. From what I can tell, he's never done anything other than coach football so at 63 his job options are going to be coaching juco/college or running a ponzi scheme. His braggadocio caught on tape may have ended his chances at a college job too so he's trying to undo that damage.

As has been pointed out many times, Propst hasn't had big name recruits placed anywhere since his Hoover days. He knows as much about what happens behind closed doors in modern 5 star recruiting as the average poster on tRant.

You dumb shite, I told you his history was wiped clean. I am sure many remember the posts with you two reminiscing about the old day. I’m sure you can dig through your history and find it, I don’t need to because I remember the post.

bullshite, Complience Departments get accusations of recruiting violations all the time. They do not ask or expect any type of affidavits to prove or disprove an allegation. It is not a court of law.

You better believe they get sworn statements when the accusation is highly publicized, is made by a highly public figure, and is already part of the record in a court case involving that public figure.

Surely you can understand the differences here without someone having to hold your little hand.

I'm calling you out for the liar you are and I reposted your posts about me and reddog, then you turned around and lied about that with it being in the SAME thread!
My post history DAMN sure ain't wiped clean!. If you don't bring these claimed posts to the board in a link, then you are simply conceding your lying ways...and if you're any kind of a man, you'd be too ashamed to come back around here again.

PS- Propst ain't the only lying POS in this thread!

What am I lying about. You have admitted you and red dog ran around together 30 years ago. You admitted to communicating on this site. The only thing in debate was what he said and your refusal to denounce what he said. You do remember the fricking , drinking and fighting posts?

PS I am not digging through your 21K post to try and prove you are a blow hard? Lol

Bull shite . An affidavit is not going to stop the NCAA from investigating and it will not hold up in a. Hearing. They are not a court of law. Most cases are started on hearsay.

An affidavit of this nature is not a good for the potential for an investigation. Sucks to be as stupid as you are.

What hole have you been living in ? Logan Young denied any wrongdoing from the beginning and so did Means Coach, then they started uncovering info. The case would have never held up in a court of law, but that didn't stop the NCAA from treating Bama with the Death Penalty. The NCAA doesn't have to play well with others.

You can get sued for libel for forwarding an email to 1 individual that you didnt write.

Here is your test for a lawsuit.
1) was the statement (even in private) factual?
2) are there damages?

Intent to be made public is not a factor.
Truth and damages.

Very interesting. I assumed the standards were a bit more stringent. Thanks for the correction. That would certainly motivate him to set the record straight in that regard.
