With portal and opt outs, non playoff bowls are basically an early spring game between programs. They mean nothing.
Bowl games used to be considered exhibition games and a reward for a good season until about 50 years ago. Nonplayoff games will be going forward, especially in light of portal, opt outs, and expanded playoffs.

There will be excuses and rightfully so. Arkansas didn’t play the regular season penn state team and penn state didn’t play the regular Arkansas team. Same goes for Kansas and everyone else in a bowl. Missouri isn’t catching the regular Ohio state team. This is Missouri Super Bowl, OSU won’t care as much. Fully expect mizzou to win. But since we have transfer portal and whatnot, all bowl wins pretty much come with asterisks

Well, this is bull shite. I’ve lived in Ohio long enough to know that Ohio State fans and intellect is a very rare combination . You’d have a better chance at finding Bigfoot.
As far as your football team, I watched most of your games this year. Not exactly something you want to brag about. You had two decent wins and that was it. Not good wins, but just decent. Then you lost to the only team that was good. I’d put money on Mizzou even if half your team didn’t hit the portal.

Not even close. This one isn’t on the level of several games including knocking off #1 OU. Hell. This game even isn’t as big as the Sod Reesing game. Whatever makes your limp nut brain feel better though.
