State has very good LBs and I feel confident in saying you'll come away impressed with our defense. We are fast and ranked #1 in the country in efficiency for a reason.

Arden Key at full strength is awesome. He is what 60% healthy right now? Nick Fitzgerald's first ever road start in college football was vs LSU. This time he gets you at home. He should be night and day improved

Nobody hides that Mullen is the OC. It's been announced for several years now. I have watched Grantham's defense before this year and there's something different about him now. He has total freedom and total control of the defense and the players are responding to it.

Should be a fantastic game. I hope you get to see Fitz at his best cause when he is you're going to have a totally different outlook on MSU.

I think State is a pretty good team actually and I think many of your starters are very good. Unfortunately that's where I believe it ends. With your starters. I don't think State recruits high enough to have the depth to compete with teams like LSU, Bama, Auburn, etc on a consistent basis. Sure, every once in awhile State pulls one out of their arse (like in 2014 when State had probably the best team they ever had and LSU had its worst team in 15 years).

Any other week, I'd actually be pulling for State.

When LSU wins tomorrow night, national media and State fans will claim "we should've won" and we "have more talent" etc etc etc as an excuse to why they lost.

If (which is about 0.000001%) State wins, national media will be riding states cock because they beat LSU.

Holy crap man, are you really this scared?
Are all internet LSU fans this insecure?

All you needed to add was, "the officials are against us" to make this a completely wimpy thread. How the hell did you get upvotes?

TLDR: LSU fans #grinded

OP, Moo State is not going to be a media darling if they luck up and win tomorrow.

To the national media, State is a nobody school with nobody credentials.

I see your point. I'd say that LSU is consistently a standard, of sorts. It's not too high a standard, but it's not low either. It's just a dumb, badly coached yet talented standard. If you can meet it and win the game, it usually means you're at least a top 25 team. So the game truly is a test for State, and we either pass or fail. The outcome says so much more about State than LSU. So we get applauded for winning, and LSU gets basically nothing for winning.

Nah if LSU goes into Starkville Miss and beats y'all like a drum to the tune of 42-10, LSU will get plenty of respect. If we just beat you then no we won't get shite. LSU has the talent to dominate this game. We have a new coach and new offense, let's see what happens??

Canada is about to go off on that bad arse defense but y'all have no idea neither does your team. Sure they will be confident, but when those fakes start flying around all over the place, and they are looking left while another player is running right they will start looking at each other and fall apart. Y'all will have to defend the entire field tomorrow night and State isn't used to doing that with LSU. We have studs all over the place. Our WRs are a huge mismatch for your DBs and Linebackers. Not to mention that we have some big physical TEs who haven't really gotten their chance yet. This is going to be a hellava game and I predict when it's all over, State will agree that LSU is the real deal and second best team in the SEC.

TEs 6'7" 260, 6'6 265, 6'6 255
WRs 6'6 235, 6'4 225, 6'4 205 6'2 210
This isn't counting our smaller, quick, more agile WRs. Huge mismatch for state.

We also have a very good OL and Backs who can also play physical and out run you. Depth will play a role. Your defense will not be as good as you have been made to believe. Les Miles didn't use a fraction of the weapons LSU actually has. You will see that change tomorrow night. Etling is playing much much better this year and the OC has limited him to some of the harder throws in a game and really never used a game plan. Just called a bunch of plays he thought could work. He will game plan this one. Which means he will give your defense looks purposely to make them feel confident in what they are seeing and then change it up. Once they realize that they have no idea what's coming, they will fall apart. But ok y'all might win. Lmao

It's the same as it always is with all teams in these kind of games. Whoever wins is a legit contender and whoever loses is complete shite, yet somehow beating complete shite makes the winner a legit contender. It's the mentality of people. What a sad planet we have that such mentally-challenged beings are the smart ones.

Well we are like #11th ranked team n the country. I think if we win we will at least stay at 11. I'm not sure how that equates to we suck. I think we win but I think it's close and I think they can beat UGA and auburn and Lsu if we don't bring A game. So I guess u can call me a believer in state right now. You are right if we do win we won't get the props we deserve but imo it will end up being considered a quality win once they win some games down the road. I see a 5-3 sec record for state this year. Hopefully Lsu is one of their losses.
