So Lane Kiffin didn’t abandon his team in the middle of a playoff run? The AD fired him

Lane was willing to coach all the way through. Fought to coach all the way through. He wanted to leave Ole Miss after the season and Ole Miss said NO.

Crappy move by Ole Miss to take those boys coach away right before the Playoffs.

The Playoff Committee might want to reconsider including Ole Miss in the field. They are surely much weaker now.

Oh well. Let’s get started at LSU early. Welcome Coach Kiffin!

If we get Kiffin for 6 years with 10-11 win seasons, I’ll be pretty happy.

You should have let him coach the playoff run instead of dismissing him. I don’t think LSU would let a coach go right before the playoffs.

Weird.

Why are y'all so upset, then? You knew he was whatever you're now saying he is. You knew the shelf life; why so bitter?

More like he gave his two week notice and his employer said, “You have to much access to things, pack your stuff now”.

If lane got offered the TX or Bama job and took it when yall are 11-1 and about to host a playoff game, there is a 0% chance your AD would let him coach. Also there would be 0% fan support for him coaching.

Lane had the opportunity to coach, but he quit on the team instead. It’ll be obvious how few friends he had left in Oxford when the dust settles after the season.

Nah man, yall are being salty bitches. I 100% would want him coach that game and trying to win a NC. One to have the hardware. But two, if he wins and then fumbles at his next job, how fricking hilarious. Sweet justice.

I get the decision, absolutely. But your AD is letting his pride get in the way for a national championship. Odds were slim for ole miss before, they are zero now. Yall will win the first game and get humiliated the second and blame Kiffin.

Good Lord.

And LSU didn't fire BK until 3 weeks after he wasn't on the sideline..

You clowns are making asses of yourselves.

And yall decided you would rather beat your chest with your fist than tuck the tail and try to let him win yall a national championship. And my god, the lulz yall could have had if he did and then came to LSU and won nothing.

Everyone made choices. But as a LSU fan would I let him try to finish it out? Absolutely.

If Kiffin brings LSU their greatest run in history like he did Ole Miss, it will be more than worth it, as we will win multiple championships in 6 yrs

Ok yeah you’d let lane keep coaching if he was talking with Texas or bama the last 4 weeks of the season and try to strong arm his entire staff to join and nuke the team? Sure
