That is rich coming from a team that has played a 12 and 13 seed into the sweet 16. No luck there. LOL

This is like people arguing over who won the Stafford-Goff trade

All 3 of Cal, Arkansas, and Kentucky are in better places than they were in March 2024.

It’s rare, but it happens.

High Point would have smoked that Kentucky team that just lost. Did you not watch them play? They won 31 games this year. That team is frickin good.

Also, if your team will do better during the season and make a 4 seed, you'll get an easier first round opponent too.

Congrats to Arky. They got the Old Cal - not the greatest Xs and Os guy by any means, but doesn't over-coach it and wants to win. And look, I can whip Magnus Carlsen on the chess board if I've got two extra Queens and my Rooks can move diagonal as well as orthagonal. That was the Cal secret when he was hot.

We ended up with the "I'm changing lives" Cal that wanted to run an AAU team on a college campus.

Good riddance. And just like LSU with Lane ? When Pope doesn't work out - we'll just go get another one. Until we get one that's good enough.

I'll tell ya what, that coach from High Point won't be there long. He won 31 games as a first year coach and damn near took down the SECt champs in the second round.

Yet we somehow beat you on your home court.

Wouldn't mind giving him a four year contract. See what he can do. They were well coached.

They're frickin impressive for sure. Wisconsin beat 5 top 10 teams this season and High Point took them down. They were impressive.

Meh. They're still cheering. We're talking Coach and AD changes.

Even with the Head to Head win ... Arky outperformed Kentucky. As did Florida, Vandy, Tenner (beat them twice) ... the list goes on and on.

We gotta' look this in the eye. Kentucky was the Ninth Place team in a Sixteen Team League. It won't get better until we collectively admit what it is.

Now Goose is defending Mark Pope on the post-game. frick that.

Nah. Cal had broken his own rule of not staying anywhere longer than 10 years. You get stale and in a rut, not everyone, but some people need a change of scenery. It was a mutually beneficial parting of ways.

You hogs are too modest.

Clearly the captain needed the right ship and when he got to the flagship he got what he needed
