one-sided officiating

Typical LSU fan perspective.

Heard this for years each time lsu shits the bed.

Always the refs fault. The sec office in b'ham, holding, pass interference,....scheduling....bla bla bla...

Boy if they do start getting popped for holding early and often it'll be a long, long night for the Tide.

If you took any running play from any team and wanted to get really ticky tacky with it, you could find a hold 90% of the time. Let's hope our crew doesn't get flag happy just for shits and giggles.

Someone needs to interview the ref in the USCe game and have him explain that first down call. It looked flat out that he knew he was wrong and was giving USCe the regardless. Somehow they gotta be held accountable for that shite and that was blatant.

You just better hope they don't enforce holding penalties because your O-line won't know how to block after their go-to technique is flagged.

Only for recruiting purposes I will be pulling for the Tide to lose BUT, I do not want to see the refs call a bunch of bullshite holding.

Would be a really shitty way for ND to get the upset.

Curious to see if PAC-12 refs have an ax to grind like some of the other conferences. Luckily you guys avoided the Big 10 officials. I cannot even begin to imagine Big 10 officials calling this game. Would get ugly IMO.

The refs in the Cap One bowl were simply very inconsistent. They would make calls on one team but not the other, but it went both ways. Although I was laughing at how obvious that one hold had to be for them to throw the flag, but UGA certainly got a way with a few too.

Agreed about the Cap 1 bowl officials being inconsistent. In about a five minute period there were two borderline intentional grounding situations - Nebraska got called for it and UGA didn't - and two blatant illegal touching situations - flag was thrown on UGA but not Neb.

Evened out in the end, I guess.

FWIW, I thought the Peach Bowl was similar with missed calls going both ways, but you just don't hear the winner complaining in that type of game. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some Nebraska fans who thought the officials were out to get them in the Cap 1 bowl.

The fix is in boys, the fix is in. Glad Clowney took care of the worst of the bs calls against us!

LSU did not deserve to win that game but the refs literally blew 5 pass interference calls/no-calls.

LSU also got away with pretty bad pass interference late in the game. They were pretty bad all around.

...and then immediately got hit with one that wasn't even close to PI a few plays later.

Its always either Les Miles, the refs, or the QB.

frickin broken record. It had nothing to do with that all world defense allowing Clemson to get in fg range including converting on a 4th and forever.

Some of you idiots have zero reading comprehension!

LSU laid an egg an sucked last night.

What Bama needs to beware of is this PAC 10 crew has called more holding penalties than ANY other officiating crew in college football this year. SEC refs rarely call holding!

Yeah I think I've said that twice, maybe three times in this thread. LSU had no business winning that game the way they played.

Having said that, the officiating was horribly skewed to Clemson. Just like it was skewed to Michigan today.

But give it a rest. Lot of these Gumps are not the brightest bunch.
