Clickbait Mulkey
God you’re pathetic.
Here’s what I said in regards to JT winning the heisman:
quote:
He would have to be ridiculously efficient. We were throwing it around a lot more with JT last year but even then we were running the ball 45% of the time.
I seriously doubt we will pass the ball enough for him to put up numbers that will compete with Rattler. He would have to be near Mac Jones level efficient to be considered.

You want to go through the multiple threads where you were posting video clips and arguing about how good JT Daniels was?
Seems foolish to call LSU fans dumb for touting their QB when you were doing the same thing.

I think JT Daniels is a great QB and will prove it this year.

As you can read in that thread, I liked Daniels as well.
BTW, every fanbase has sunshine pumpers. I guarantee we can find overly optimistic posts and threads for every school.

I mean did get injured twice. No one really knows how it would have panned out had he not been injured. He looked really good in those 3 games before going down for the season.

Did you watch the games? Or just look at his % and record? We lost those games because of defense.
He had 11 TD's and 3 int's in 3 games with 1,112 yards.
It looks like you cherry picked stats to try and make yourself look right.

They beat me up pretty bad on the recruiting board when he committed. Tried to tell them it was doubtful he ever played any real meaningful snaps and if he did, it probably wasn't good news for LSU.

Wow, it only took 2 career threatening injuries to make it happen
Congrats

Oh i definitely watched them. Defense was the reason you lost but Brennan wasn’t good. Painfully average.

On a billion attempts. His YPA (8.5) was very pedestrian. He turned the ball over too much. He took bad sacks that were avoidable. There’s a reason every nearly every advanced statistic had him as an average QB.
Not to mention it was against 3 bad defenses.

I mean yea you never want to turn the ball over, but I am not going to kill the kid for only 3 picks.
I never said he was great. But he was moving the offense just fine and we dropped 34-40+ in every game I believe. What more can we ask for?
He threw it a million times because he had to. I just don't what else he could have done in that circumstance.

He also fumbled 2-3 times IIRC

He was fine. Nothing special. Your offense scored a lot of points due to the defense having 2 minute possessions.

Fine, and nothing special wins Nattys sometimes doesn't it?

I always thought he was a pretty good passer, but…
Funny… the biggest knock on him when he signed was that he was skinny and frail and wouldn’t hold up physically in the SEC. This was the opinion of most analysts and a large number of Tr posters.
Guess what…they were spot on..
