So do Aubies still think Gus Malzahn is why they won in 2010?

Chizik was a finalist for the Broyles award and his UNC defense led them to a 1 loss season.

Yes.

Though Chiz deserves some credit for holding the team together when the people started throwing stones in their big glass houses.

Gustav has no idea how to run a SEC program.

Nope, but we at least get to see him try. Aubie has big decisions to make, but they aren't going to make them this year, and probably not next year. He may win 3 sec games next year, and that will show "progress."

There's not really any doubt in my mind.

Chizik is a defensive coach. His defenses weren't ever that great.

'10s defense wasn't bad but had plenty of holes as you Arkies should know

Cam was and still is the reason they won.

Once in a generation player. Put him on over half of the other SEC team that season and that team would have won the conference.

This has always been my thought, the 2010 defense would have been very underwhelming if not for Fairley.

His best defense at Auburn as HC was 2010.

That was pretty much his only quality defense.

Eh, he definitely had a role but there were a lot of factors that year.
