There have been a few charged with murder and some other bad crimes.

That's the second time you've said that without providing any supporting evidence. Feel free to back it up.

Whatever, tired of arguing with AU fans about the seemingly never ending supply of questionable and objectionable news coming out of the plains.

Boy do I hate doing your easy arse research for you, Damn first page on a Google search. As stated prior your evidence is fulmer cup points which on goes back to 06' an doesnt even include all the schools. So you might want to check First before using something as your link as the sole basis of your info when it ONLY goes to 06'.

AP) DURHAM, N.H. The University of New Hampshire said Friday it suspended a backup quarterback after learning that he faces murder charges in California.
Henri "Hank" Hendricks, 21, is charged with murder, assault and battery in the beating death of a professional surfer in San Diego in May, the university said. He is to be arraigned Monday in California.
Police allege that Hendricks and four other men beat professional surfer Emery Kauanui Jr. of Hawaii at Kauanui's home on May 24. Kauanui, 24, died several days later.

Remember that backup punter who stabbed the starting punter in the leg so he could start? I'd say that's pretty close as well.

There's a difference in defending yourself and fighting, because you got dissed. E Smith was embarrassed and sucker punched a guy, leaving him in a gutter, knocked out and bleeding. He sat one game after pleading guilty in a court of law. That is what is wrong, and what set the precendent with what's gone down on the plains, getting back to the topic at hand.

The other person wasn't exactly innocent in that whole situation either. Not saying he deserved what he got but when you talk trash and intentionally attempt to piss someone off don't be surprised if it happens. If Smith had used a deadly weapon or any weapon he'd have been kicked off the team, in his case he lost his temper and got into a fight, not saying it is ok but it is something many can relate to and feel a second chance is warranted. Where as robbing a house with a weapon is not something most can relate to.

This is a case where the evidence is overwhelming and the players are likely going to plead guilty so they can get reduced punishment. Also Chizik spoke with the key people involved in this issue and made the decision from there.

Yep. I say there's now an 80% chance (and rising) that Erique starts at one of the safety spots now.

Now to bring this back to the original topic by Robin Master.

From a poster on AE... Chette Williams « on: March 12, 2011, 08:44:35 PM » -------------------------------------------------------------------------- To all the people that want to complain and gripe about how the whole "situation" went down, how it affects the Auburn family and so on and so on. I got to meet Chette today at work, he was headed to see the guys. We also talked about what Chizik did, and he agreed 100% with what he did and there was really wasn't a choice for him as the coach. He said he had been speaking a lot with their parents as well. I think the hardest part for him was having to tell the parents that it was far beyond his or Chizik's control. So with that being said please for the people ragging on how the staff handle it or them "bailing" on them as a family, or downgrading the guys for what they did....don't, because you probably know way less than what is going on internally.

It was hard to say they couldn't fix a felony arrest?

Leaving a guy unconscious in a gutter bleeding after running up to him and sucker punching him from behind, isn't a college fight. That's an assault. Keep on defending the thuggish behavior though. Just reinforces what folks think about the program and some of it's fans right now.

I wonder what you think of McClain running a guy over with his car and than dropping him on his face on asphalt?

What else did bammer cover up for this thug?

Guy had to get plastic surgery to fix all the teeth he got knocked out...

quote:

Stanford Matthew Mangham filed a suit in Morgan County circuit court last week claiming McClain intentionally hit him twice with his vehicle at an intersection near Bryant Hall on Nov. 13, 2008. The second time caused Mangham to be thrown on the hood of McClain's vehicle, the suit says. Mangham claims McClain then left the scene "to secure additional members of the University of Alabama football team to provide an intimidating and menacing presence." Without provocation, Mangham was verbally and physically assaulted by McClain again, the suit says. McClain "intentionally picked the Plaintiff up and slung him to the ground," requiring multiple dental procedures and oral surgery to treat permanent injuries, according to the suit. Mangham is seeking at least $75,000 plus punitive damages. He claims he suffered "mental anguish." The suit also claims McClain has a "history of aggressive and violent behavior, including previous assaults and other criminal activity." No specific incidents are mentioned. Mangham's lawsuit says it is leaving open the possibility of adding other defendants. Mangham claims one or more people "negligently entrusted" a vehicle for McClain to use on Nov. 13, 2008. On Nov. 14, 2008, the University of Alabama issued a statement confirming campus police were investigating a fight between a football player and two members of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. The Birmingham News reported the player was McClain. At the time of the fight, news reports questioned whether McClain's playing status would be impacted during Alabama's late-season games. McClain played the rest of the season as Alabama reached the SEC Championship Game. "If he made a mistake because somebody else did something, we all make them," Alabama coach Nick Saban said at the time." [Updated] Allan Armstrong, an attorney for Mangham, said he and McClain's lawyer had attempted to settle the case for months before the lawsuit was filed. "Obviously there is never a good time to be sued but Mr. McClain's agent was specifically asked when would be the better time for filing suit," Armstrong said via e-mail. "Without an answer, the suit was filed in time to comply with statues of limitation on some of the claims (two years from the date of the incident)." Armstrong declined to elaborate on the complaint and said the suit was filed to hold McClain "accountable for his own actions." "It is not our intent to contribute to a circus atmosphere, and we hope Mr. McClain will likewise not seek to try this dispute in the media," Armstrong wrote. "Our client has suffered a tremendous injustice, and we look forward to all the facts being presented in the proper forum, rather than competing with Internet rumors and talk show innuendos that will be shown to be baseless." Messages left with the Raiders and McClain's agent were not immediately returned today. The University of Alabama declined to comment.

Stand-up guy right there.

Oh, I like Saban's stance on it too.

If he did something wrong, it was somebody else's fault.

Way to be tough on your players there Nick.

I think that was the guy that was yelling at McClain and screaming Ni___r at him. Waited to file suit after he signed an NFL contract. I don't recall him getting a felony arrest out of it.

eta - having said that. It was a dumb decision to beat the guy down. Shoulda realized he was being baited. Goes back to earlier arguments in being not mature enough to handle a situation.

I claim you have a history of incesstuous and paedophilic behavior. See how easy that is.
Here's a hint, don't believe everything you read especially if it is written by a plantif attorney.
Btw I saw Kenny Irons park his 100k Mercedes in a handicap parking space at Whole Foods the other day. Typical barner trash.

Oh come on, you are just looking more hypocritical.

The e smith shite is similar to several fights that have happened in all of college sports. And the mcclain shite is the same thing. Now you are saying the lawyer is not telling the truth or he was baited into it by name calling.

That is some big old bs right there. Nice job on the irons/auburn flame attempt you are really great at arguments.

I once saw your mom go down on a crack dealer for a five dollar rock. Typical bama trash.

Eta. And this is not directed toward all bammers just the couple dumbasses on here.

There are strict standards and consequences for what you claim in civil proceedings. I'm not saying everything contained in a pleading or testimony is factual but it definitely has a better track record for veracity than internet message boards.
