Y'all need to hire an established stud to change the mentality at florida. Billy d lost the fire.

Who?

I believe Billy never loved the recruiting game. He hasn't lost the fire for basketball though. I can't blame him. Can you imagine sucking up to 17 year old kids like they have to do and lie with a straight face. I couldn't do it for more than a year or two.

Why is Shaka so great...You realize he never won a conference regular season and tourney title at VCU. How many coaches who had a "run" go on and suck at a top dog school? Go ask Arkie fans how that worked for them.

Archie Miller would be a solid hire.

Last I checked, Cal was 12-5 against Billy. My math is fuzzy, but that doesn't equal 1000x.

Calipari is a cheating cheater who cheats.

Billy Donovan is not.

because you could bet your arse Shaka would be our coach.

He probably would have still chosen UT, but I see your point. What about Sean Miller instead of Archie?

Engage in what? I posted what an ESPN writer said on of the reasons why Billy left Florida. Got a problem with it, take it up with O'Conner.

bro you can't convince me that shaka isn't a great coach. That final four run was amazing. Plus shaka was always considered to be the replacement for Billy. He was his understudy, and learned all that he knows from Billy (pressing style etc)

Shaka looks the part of the next great college basketball coach. There's definitely a lot of hype behind him. I'm guessing he has lots of success at UT.

If he does well at UT, he would set himself up for a UK/UNC/Duke/Kansas job.

Come on, Sean is waiting for a 'Blueblood"...plus, Zona is paying him $$$$$$. Plus, Miller is pulling 5 star talent from the West coast...sweet gig he has.

Would love Sean but don't see why he'd leave Zona for UF.

Archie would be good considering the pickle we find ourselves in.

Need someone to come in and rally the students. Someone young and energetic. Someone that can demand more upgrades from Foley when they are needed.

Any chance UF makes a run at Mark Few? I know he's entrenched at Gonzaga but you never know. Lot's more tv coverage on the east coast.

UF is a great job so I would love to know what coaches are contacting the UF's AD as we speak.
