It looks like Woodward screwed both schools with huge contracts. He does that ...

I think BK is not as good of a commodity as LSU deserves or paid for, and I never have.

That said, it is always entertaining to watch people absolutely thrash a coach after one game and say absurd things about his future.

There's a whoooole lot that goes into every single game. Every team. Every season.

The thing that stuck out to me is his quote "this isn't the team I thought we were," or whatever the direct quote was. That necessarily means he didn't know his team. His evaluation was way off. That means he doesn't know how to fix the problems he has bc he fails to recognize them. A very foolish thing to say aloud, at the least.

Gator fans need to feel better. Kelly may flop, but at least we didn't hire a rookie

Firing the FL HC is plausible. So is sitting on years of mediocrity and not being ABLE to fire the LSU HC. Former Notre Dame HC, who is used to getting his shite pushed in on national tv against a premier opponent......some things just don't change.

All he meant was we haven't advanced as much as expected and have to go back to more basic aspects of how to play and win football games.

it amazing how this guys words more than any other coach are twisted and taken out of context to prop up these invented narratives.

I realize how badly y’all want him to fail and all but good lord.

I just don’t get it. There’s no universe in which a coach at LSU should be guaranteed anything if he doesn’t win.

And by win I mean 10 (counting bowl) as the minimum.

With a 12-team playoff, the expectation has to be every. Single. Year. Miss out 2 years in a row and you’re gone.

A little too soon for this kind of talk. He's heading towards suspect territory but they're not going to fire BK just yet.

Churning through coaches every 3-4 years is a recipe for extended mediocrity. You’ve got to give someone a real chance, just look at Florida State they wanted to fire Norvell but couldn’t afford it.

I do love football, I do. And I still read SECrant a fair amount during football season, but I'm not ate up with it when the world is falling apart at the seams. I am more of a poli-board guy these years. I don't care if LSU football is great or fails miserably. I also dgaf about B.K. like your post assumes. I was just giving an honest personal assessment.

You can take it or leave it.

Brian Kelly will be the HC at LSU when you have hired your next HC
