I don't mind them pulling for auburn. It makes sense. But can we please consistently define when it's ok to "back in" to a championship game?

LSU backed into the bcs in 2007, and arguably 2003, but that doesn't count.
It's only backing in the game if Bama plays for the natty with a reg season loss.

Is there a chance Bama's not up by 10 at the end of the 1st quarter? Is there a chance Bama's not up by 20 at the half? Is there a chance Bama's not up by 30 at the end of the 3rd quarter? Is there a chance Bama's not up by 40 at the end of the game?

Chizik might as well try every trick play in the book. It's his last game. I don't expect it to be a blowout, on the scoreboard. Bama will play a lot of reserves if they get a decent lead.

I don't know if getting beat by Kentucky and still playing for the title qualifies as "backing in".

I'm thinking maybe Auburn can come out amped up with some trick play b.s. up their sleeve like in 2009, but it'll wear off by the first quarter.

This game will be closer than it should. These guys have nothing to play for but this game. This would heal a lot of wounds for the team and fan base. If res were reversed it would be the same thing. Nobody likes losing but If you're gonna do it at least ruin the other teams season.
