Makes sense, because they haven't postponed SC @ Ole Miss.

To be fair, these postponements aren't happening because a bunch of people are catching covid. They're happening because the contact tracing rules require a 14 day quarantine from anyone who was in close proximity of someone who had covid.

So Notre Dame students storm the field and they test everyone and say no one has COVID - what about contact tracing there?

There were 2 that tested positive. Because of the plane ride to/from South Carolina, and the contract tracing rules, many were impacted and now quarantined. There have been no new positive tests though.

Supposedly the ND players immediately left the field. Also, the contract tracing is being within 6 ft of the positive person for 15 minutes or something like that.

Lol! SCG, you’re asking the wrong people.

On one hand the bama melt brigade is all stompy-foot because of contrived fear to play them, but also said contact tracing s the real reason why.

But there is a narrative to be built, here. On that same side of the coin, you have some that are saying that LSU tried to get covid for UF and Bama.

Facts don’t substantiate that. But the melt goes on........and on.....on an LSU-tied sec board.

Now you know why scores of threads are about something they can’t change instead of, actual football. Starting to look like an aggy board. LSU-cessed.

2019 LSU did a number on the collective psyche of this board.

Idk if you watched the South Carolina / A&M game, but South Carolina was keeping social distancing during the game, making sure not to come in contact with receivers, running backs or QBs.

Outside of amateur hockey, I don't think there is a documented case of anyone, anywhere, getting covid from actual competition. The only connection to road trips (as A&M is seeing this week, and as Florida saw after it's trip to A&M) is that you can't maintain distance while travelling the same way that you can while operating at your home base. That's why teams turn up with positive tests after travelling.

Here is what I don't get. 2 of our DBs (Richardson and Carper?) appear to have tested positive for COVID, so apparently a lot of other players are now all quarantined due to contract tracing - even though they have not tested positive. I mean, I get it, they were probably all in a room together at some point watching video, seated near each other on a plane, or had adjacent lockers.

But Trevor Lawrence gets sidelined for COVID, and none of the other Clemson QBs (or any other players that I am aware of) are quarantined due to close contact contract tracing with him.

Not picking on Clemson here, but the application of these contract tracing quarantines seems kind of arbitrary to me.

Richardson didn't even make the trip. So it was just Capers and whatever staff member on the plane ride home.

That's true. So are they saying that Richardson infected Carper, and one of these two infected the staff member? Therefore, anybody who was close to either Richardson, Carper or the staff member is now quarantined, even if they have not tested positive.

Just saying that these contract tracing quarantines seem to hit some teams harder than others, although the team dynamics of all teams would seem to be fairly similar to me.

Not one topic about LSU on page 1 of the aggy board and the only topic on page two that is tangentially related is celebrating a t.u. loss and an aggy win over a top 4 team as well.

Carper is Richardson's backup.
