Every fricking gump was jubilant when the Wade story came out calling us cheaters

Dude, I would love for UAT to get caught cheating but your coach was on tape talking about it and then spent a month refusing to talk with his boss about it. LSU fans equating the two is comical.

Sounds like lack of institutional control and oversight to me.

Tons of you LSU fans do. Foaming at the mouth about absolute BS. I guess that's what third world types do. That and billboards. For quality entertainment you can't beat the swamp people.

If they were paid before turning pro and entering the draft, it would be a violation of NCAA rules.

It is 100% a violation of the NCAA rules. But what people seem to misunderstand is the responsibility of the university in it and what they are liable for.

The reality is in these kinds of cases the schools do not want the agents doing these things. Saban has directly spoken against these things 9 years ago, calling the agents pimps.

So in order for the schools to get in trouble, what has to be shown is that the school knew about the payments, and they either did nothing about it, or they covered it up. That is where LOI comes in.

That is what got USC in trouble with Reggie Bush. It was a similar deal, but the payments and benefits being given were so extreme it was deemed impossible for USC to not know. So that was LOI.

And you also have to show they knowingly played an ineligible player in the process as a result of the above(which is usually the case if they are guilty)

Same thing with Langham in the 90's. What got Alabama in trouble was telling the NCAA to frick off and playing him anyway.

It would be impossible for schools to prevent all the shite that happens - even in cases that don't benefit them as is the case with agents.

Plus it's beyond the statue of limitations, not that it would be pursued even if it was still in them. There just isn't anything there.

LSU fans trying to compare it to Will Wade stuff just cracks me up. Talk about desperate to create/change a narrative.
