September meant very little in CFB before the playoff expansion.
It now means next to nothing, especially when you’re UGA and alabama having played 5 team that don’t have half the talent your team has.
You watch those elite Big Ten team deeper in the playoffs these past few years and they are in a different gear. Miami was right there with them a year ago.

UGA looks to be the leader.

Probably so but UGA is also probably not capable of winning against the top tier teams in CFB any longer as evidenced by the losses to Notre Dame and Ole Miss the last two years in the playoffs. Those were two teams that didn’t even win the Natty.

I think Sam Leavitt has finally learned the offense. What I saw tonight was a ton of drops.
McNeese scored on the 8th string defense who over pursued two plays that appeared obvious on tv so I think instead of assignment football they were trying to get a highlight to move up the depth chart
