ok SEC fans, what are some famous "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory moments" you can think of involving your team, whether you won or loss? Some for LSU:
LSU vs. Iowa in 2005 Capital One Bowl (LSU loss)
LSU vs. UK in 2002 (LSU win)

ehh if you put it on the pitcher I suppose. maybe he made a really bad pitch? I dont know if the entire team snatched defeat though. Not like UK on the Bluegrass Miracle

We had 3 games in a row in Tiger stadium with a lead in the 4th quarter and lost ('02, '04, and '06).

Basketball:
LSU v UGA. LSU leads with about 2 seconds left and has the ball at the UGA end and only needs to inbound the ball. John Williams throws it full length of court and out of bounds without a player touching it. He thought the clock would start when he threw it.
UGA scored on their inbound play to win the game

1997 Iron Bowl - Ed Scissum fumbles late in the 4th quarter when all we needed to do was get a first down and run the clock out.
2003 UT game - Most people remember this as UT converting a 4th and 19. I remember because Bama had 1st and 5 and couldn't get a first down to run out the clock. UT won in 5 OTs
2003 Arky game - I think we were up 38-17 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. We had the game won about 3 different times. Biggest thing I remember from this game is Bama picking Matt Jones off in OT and the guy fell down and everybody was celebrating. One ref is telling them to get up and another ref comes all the way across the field and flags us for Unsportsmanlike. It was a bullshite call. We would've been in easy field goal position, instead we started on the 40.
1998 LSU - One positive one. We had no business winning this game. Kevin Faulk had about 1200 total yards. Two tipped passes and an onside kick later and Bama comes out of Death Valley with a win......again.

LSU-Arkansas in Little Rock. Dominate the whole game and then a long run for a td and the last drive.

Technically it's not "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory," but when Tyler Watts dropped that ball against Oklahoma, I almost broke my TV.

The 06 one was a killer. I believe we were up 20-7 going into the 4th, and Ed's dumb coaching combined with JaMarcus tearing us a new one beat us in overtime.

And that's when Charter Cable pulled the plug on ESPN's "Game Plan" for that game.

2006 SECCG vs. Florida, Reggie Fish's fumbled punt.
1998 vs. UT in Knoxville. I still can't talk about it.

We tend to do that from time to time. Florida knows.
